I have noticed only a couple of hubbers from Massachusetts. They are in the Eastern half of the state. Are there any Western Mass hubbers out there? Love to find out and set something up.

Corey, set up your HubMeet in Western Mass and they will come. Write a Hub about it so your followers notice it. That's how I got it going here in NY. It grows slowly but people start noticing.

Thanks for the tip. I almost forgot I posted this and was once again curious about hubpages users in my area. Did you hold meetings at your house or meet publicly by renting a venue?

I'm in CT and would love to go to a meetup. I could easily make it up to Hartford or Springfield or Great Barrington.

I think there's a couple of hubbers who are near hartford as well. If you give it a couple more days you may get some more takers. It's nice to match faces to avatars, eventhough avatars I truly believe are representative of a person's current state of mind.

Hi Corey, We meet in Whole Foods. Not sure if you have one there but it's similar to Panera Bread. They both provide free WiFi so all of us can use out laptops to go online with HubPages while we discuss things. You can also check out Coffee venues if they have enough room. We had six people last month.

              Hi Corey,

I saw that idea Jim gave. I'm glad you would like to join us. The next meeting is in two weeks. But because of the holidays only two signed up so far. So I may have to reschedule for later in April. You can follow the Long Island HubMeet forum to keep informed. I am following this one to see how you are doing.

You can see the scheduling on meetup's site at ... http://www.meetup.com/HubPages/Long-Island-NY/630472/

If you didn't yet, you should create a HubPages meetup group there too.

Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Look forward to meeting you and other Hubbers from your area who might want to come along too. Should be fun. And lots of info to share.

              Glenn

I could make it to LI just as easily. I live just outside of Bridgeport. I would be glad to meet anyone coming from the north at the ferry to make travel more efficient.

          Corey:

You can always make a day out of it and grab a few other hubbers and come over to our hubpages meetup on Long Island and join Glenn, myself and rest of group. All you would have to do is drive a few hours. Hop on the Bridgeport Ferry in CT. get off at Port Jeff Ferry on long Island and we are less than a half hour away from that point. It would definitely be a great experience for all and we could exchange notes and have dinner afterwards. Just a thought.

              Hi Corey:

Your welcome and glad that you thought the idea wasn't too bad. Myself as well as our hubpage meetup leader Glenn will be glad to have you with us for the day. Keep an eye out for our continued forum thread posts here and within the Long Island meetup forum as Glenn had mentioned. Take care and hope to see you near the end of the month.

              Jim

LOL I thought this was a call for Catholic hubbers on the west coast. I was gonna come make a priest joke or something.

Hello from the bottom corner of NH! I'm about 5 minutes from MA. I'd also be curious if you were trying for a Hubber gathering.
