Relatively speaking.
January 1, 2012. New Year's Day.
Not bad at all.
How is everyone else doing?
Yesterday and today have been down. The week before was pretty good.
I got a massive cut just 20% of my Christmas traffic and about 5% of the usual
Decent on this end, too. I'm surprised - I figured everyone would be too hung over to be on the web!
Last year on January 1st was exactly the same relative peak for me. Then January 2nd came along and my traffic started a crash & burn cycle. Needless to say I am very curious as to what tomorrow will bring...
Thank you for asking, I'm alive and doing well.
Hope things continue to improve for all!
We've got 3 good reports now and zero bad. Looks promising.
This is going to be the year of politics. You could do very well.
slightly increasing for me, little bit I just checked
Same here. I thought I was already following you! Oh, well. Fixed that. How's that "Copyright 2011" coming along...?
oh, thank you I will edit it now...
I really thought I am following you already.
My traffic has been down for a few weeks now, thanks to the Panda....
What about today relative to yesterday and the day before?
My traffic has also been down for a couple of weeks and today is no exception, pretty low. Just hope it picks up again soon...

My traffic was down well over 60% today Sad days, I have decided that by the end of the year I want to have $200 per month coming in through my online adventures, I really need to pick up my writing and keyword research to get more visitors.
I see that your hubs are all over the map like mine topic-wise.
Not bad at all - recovering nicely from New Year's eve! My two 2012 (end of world!) hubpages are picking up nice traffic!!!!!
This is definitely going to be the year of doom! Congrats for getting in on it in time.
About 40% down compared to immediately pre-Christmas. Slightly puzzling, because I do not write sales hubs. However, I am still at about 8x the views I had immediately post Panda.
Well I hope you all feel extremely happy.
My views today are half what they were post-Panda, no less than that, but hey what does it matter, it's just another wannabe getting fucked over!
I'm down about 25% from recent Fridays (excluding Xmas Friday) but still much improved from Christmas. I'm not displeased and expect it to rise in the next few days.
I figure people are recovering from last night, not doing home improvement jobs.
You're probably going to make out like a bandit this month.
Hello everyone and Happy New Year
I am new to hubpages and I am wondering how do you get people to follow you?
Thanks for any information.
Im in the mood to unpublish everything. trouble is, some bastard has stolen my bandwidth. Makes everything harder.
He's using it to visit SimeyC's hubs.
My traffic has been lower than what I've been getting. I figure Tuesday I'll be back to normal.
My traffic is down (60% of normal levels) but slowly climbing up. Looks like people have not recovered from the New year hangovers. Today is 2nd of January and Monday, so I hope it would recover by today evening, fingers crossed.
Traffic is rising here, too - I'm interested to see what happens tomorrow when everyone is back to work/school. I suspect it will drop a little, but we'll see...

totally celebrated new years on the wrong day-swear
can we say lame
Well, it's now:
Monday, January 2, 2012, ~7:45 AM, HP time.
I'm happy to say my predicted nosedive has not taken place.
I see that others are also experiencing good traffic.
2012 is starting off pretty good for many of us.
Sorry, lobobrandon. Maybe your positive 2012 begins tomorrow?
This is a federal holiday. I wonder if the full HP staff is coming in today or not.
Traffics not too bad, I think everyone is being lazy though because they have to go back to work tomorrow and don't want to buy anything..will be interesting to see how advertiser CPC is this Jan
A little low. I thought this month would break my record earrings based on the beginning of the month. Everything slowed down at the end. I was a few dollars short. Oh well....next month maybe.
Now my traffic is at 90% of my usual levels. And it is rising...

I'm not quite sure how to apply this, but I'm working on it.
Uh-oh. My predicted, own-personal, post-holiday drop appears to have begun.
Hi, Happy New Year. It’s been good and steadily increasing before New Year but these 2 days have been slow for me since I am too busy with work. I hope I’ll achieve my target this month.
Date notation: January 3, HP time.
Traffic appears stable and no disasters appear afoot.
...mornin' ...happy new year!
....rain here...ack!..

I'm new, I want traffic, this sounds addictive! Go hubbers! I like this forum.

The usual dip, but nothing disastrous.
In over 2 years I have never seen so many red arrows and haven't done a thing
think for sure there's a glitch
Sunday Jan 8 @ 430pm
good morning btw
I think you are right, because over the last few hours, my page views jumped to a level I've never experienced on ANY day, let alone a Saturday/Sunday.
i wonder if some views from the last few days are catching up?
I'm just too pessimistic to think I've caught the Google Love all of a sudden.
I've been seeing lots of red arrows the last few days as well. I am actually expecting them to return starting tomorrow.
Monday, January 9, 2012
No usual new-week bump.
But no dive either.
Flickerings of consternation trickle across my awareness...
My traffic is increasing at slow but steady rates.
I'm going to make it a goal to try to make more in January than I did in December. I know that will be hard, but it's a goal. This past December was my best month ever for online earnings....but not anything that anyone in their right mind would be jealous of.
I'm bored with my main niche. I'm going to work on more challenging things, and not get into a hurry with any of it.

All of a sudden, since yesterday, my traffic has been cut almost 50%. Has anyone else experienced this? I doubt I will even make payment this month - time for my moral to fall January is a bad month for most I hear, but my traffic was fine earlier in the month, and consistent.

The 3 month Quantcast data for HP - US Pageviews is shown below. Looks like there has been an average 10% loss of 'Quota', (average traffic) since the start if the year. There is a significant loss in mobile traffic (down more than 10%) with PC traffic up a little. => Has there been and Panda or...

My CPM's and traffic keep dropping more and more every day. Is it just me? Didn't Paul say the increase in traffic and CPM's would immediately start or did I misread something?

My HP traffic down since last three to four days and it's a matter of great concern for me. I have already written 50 hubs for the contest but still I am not seeing the traffic that I was seeing post google algorithm change. Is there anyone else who is facing the same problems. I have started...

All of my earnings across all platforms are up 8.92% from October 2010. Just considering HP, I'm up 5.1%. This is my second January on HP and my earnings have increased from January to January by 411%. This is how I judge whether or not my business is growing. On new platforms I expect to see...

Now that the general Hubpages population can join the Hubpages ad program I have to wonder, is it worth it? I have been with Hubpages about two months and have only gained a couple clicks on Adsense. Do I have a better chance of making money from the HP program, or should I stick with...
