I remember a long time ago that there was a link that we could choose the forms we wanted to follow.  It wasn't the hub topics but the forum topics.  I may want to venture back into the forums again.  There are a few that I don't want to venture into.  Is that link still around and if so where?

Perhaps you mean Edweirdo's forum filter.

Unfortunately, it only works with Chrome.

Obviously I didn't get my question written correctly.  When you come to HP you can choose what topics you wish to follow.  You don't have to follow the ones you don't want to follow, such as autos or health or religions or such.  There is no way to only choose the forum topics that you want to read or be a part of.  Perhaps HP could set it up the same way as choosing which topics you wish to follow.

If you use Chrome or Firefox you can download a plugin by Edweirdo which lets you choose the forums you want to visit or ignore. Just run a search.

One of these days, HP will enable that feature so that we are not dependent on the vagaries of software restrictions by outside vendors.

    Leastwise, I hope so.

Then again, maybe you are talking about something else. Not sure.

    I think this MIGHT help?

When you are on your feed page (Home) there is a tiny little link

    hide filters

If you click that it gives you options in the sidebar to narrow your views - Topic and Type

Type does give the option of "Forum Posts"

In addition if you click the "edit" link under "TYPE" a large selection of checkboxes appears which allows another level of customization.

So one could set up the FEED to show only certain topic/forum events - you just have to make sure to "untick" the default of "follow this forum topic" when you post here ... (it should be the other way around!)
