If question has been asked before, I apologise.

It is now going on 24 hours since I posted my most recent Hub, yet it still does not show in the stats on my profile page. Is this normal?

    Thanks in advance.

It can take a while.  As long as the hub is published, it will start recording the views you receive and you will start to see the graph develop on the profile page.

It can take anywhere up to 48 hours before your hub displays in the hot hubs, new hubs and various other sections of the site.

However that really doesn't impact on earning money, if that's what you're here to do. Most hubs get indexed by search engines within 2-24 hours, less if you use a free site like pingler to "ping" them. And search engine traffic is where the money comes from.

                You're biased.

But you're right, the green and blue would clash...

You're welcome. The important thing to remember is that what happens to your page outside Hubpages is more important than what happens inside.

I thought the newly posted hub not showing in stats was only immediately after posting and on the hub page itself?

Usually when you navigate to your profile page it appears in the stats, or maybe it is a different problem you are talking about?

I think the problem being referred to is new hubs being shown in the latest section (especially under topics) are often not displayed till they are at least 10 hours old. Have a look in the "latest" section and check how long ago the "newest" one was published.
