Can we add a new category called "humor"?

When I write funny hubs, I have a hard time finding a good category for them.  If we had a humor category, it would help quite a bit.  Any chance of this?

Sadly that may be impossible... sad
As it would require Moderators with at least an equal sense of humor! smile

And the "humor" category we have now doesn't work... why?

Well, I did see this one, but it seemed more related to entertainment in my eyes...such as in show biz??  I was thinking something that was just plain old humor.  Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way.  By the way, I sent you an email the other day and was hoping you'd answer.  No luck yet, but I'm dying to learn from you.  Maybe you could rethink answering it????

Well then, I guess you'll be expiring soon.  There's no way I'd disclose statistics like that and nor would any other successful site user here.  That's why I chalked the request up to naïveté on your part and ignored it.

I do so enjoy reading your forum posts, Relache. big_smile

        PS That's not sarcasm either.

I'm a retired teacher.  I guess it's in my nature to want to help people.  I have seen this quality in the great majority of people here on hubpages, which is one of the reasons I enjoy being here.  It's sad that you have chosen to feel otherwise.  You're  an incredibly talented, successful and knowledgeable writer,  but you must really fear competition.  I doubt I would ever be competition for you. I don't aspire to that. You are young.  I am old.  I only wanted to learn.  Mea culpa.

You bragged about an article that received a million hits.  All I wanted to do was read it so that I could find out what you are doing that I am not.  I'm sure others here would like to learn something like that, also.  Obviously, that is not going to happen.

You know, there's a way to get your message across to people without being sarcastic or rude. Barbing colleague, especially in a public way, is never a good thing and is totally unnecessary.  I have seen you do this more than once to people, an each time your glow has tarnished a bit.  I feel sorry for you.

So because I have purple hair, I must be young?  *facepalm* .

I have a whole series of Hubs that discuss and explain my methods that are freely available for anyone on this site to read and avail themselves of this knowledge.  What I "do" is all written down there, right out in the open.  Some people tell me they really like my straightforward manner and honest replies.  Some people feel more like you do.  It's six of one, half a dozen of the other to me.

When someone asks open questions to the community, like you did about how many page views people's top Hubs had, I chose to answer.  You then posed me a more specific question, which I declined to answer, and you are unhappy about that.  Not answering was my choice, and deciding to be unhappy about it was yours.  For you to act like I had an obligation to answer you seems inappropriate to me, but that's just my opinion, just like you are perfectly entitled to yours.  Oh, and for the record, I don't discuss things like my weight or details of my sex life with total strangers either.

Guess you missed my point.  It wasn't that you didn't reply, but rather that you chose to be publicly rude and sarcastic to someone (me) who simply wanted further information.  That you chose to find this request an infringement was your choice. That I chose to make it was mine.  I'm sorry I ever did that and will not make that mistake again.  As far as your hair color, really?  I'm almost 70 years old, honey...to me, EVERYBODY is young.

I think a lot of older members agree that Relache often has some barbs in her comments.

But I think many of us also appreciate that because we're too nice to say the things she straight out says. Or if we did, we'd do it in such a way that we'd get banned. smile

We don't know you from a block of cheese. It's the internet. You could be anyone. You may be a webmaster who is searching for keywords to add to a top SEO'd website.

You'll find anyone who's successful on the internet generally chooses to keep their cards close to their chest, or suddenly find their content or ideas being stolen. smile

Bluntness is quite common from relache and is what it is. I can be quite blunt myself sometimes. I am not sure when people decided that being blunt was the same as being rude, especially on the internet  since the internet doesn't allow tone of voice or facial expressions.  It is easier to tell the difference when you are talking in person
