You can't add HTML code to a Hubpage.

What you need to do is to insert an Amazon capsule, then add the ASIN or ISBN code for the specific book you want to show.

Oh, and welcome to Hubpages Mary!

Thank you.  Actually that's exactly what I did...crated the capsule, pasted the amazon ASIN code.  It'snot showing up....does it take a while?

Check that you have set the display options in the Amazon capsule to ASIN search.  If it says keyword, you just need to change it.  You can also preview to check that your product has been found before saving.

This is a tricky deal. You have to paste in the ASIN code in one dialog area and in the first one select ASIN from the dropdown menu.

        I feel for you. big_smile

Bear in mind that a few amazon products will not show - these are generally products that come from an outside supplier rather than Amazon.

I have written a few hubs and had to delete them because of this. smile It's getting better, but it still happens.

    What's the ISBN/ASIN code?

Paste it here, and one of us will test it out.

That's not an ASIN code - that seems to be a widget code from amazon? darkside will know LOL

Go to a product on Amazon and look at the URL :

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OE … d_i=507846

The number AFTER - product/ is the ASIN number:

    B000OE2Q40

    http://www.amazon.com/Stop-Foreclosure- … mp;sr=1-13

    The iframe code won't work.

For books, look for the ISBN.

The ISBN-10 or ISBN-13 should work. So for that book copy and paste 1425939546

(They went to 13 digits for ISBN's because they were running out of 10 digit numbers. All old books will have both the old system and the new. Books published after when the new system came in will have just the 13 digit code).

For all products that aren't books you'd be looking for the ASIN.

I just do a CTRL F and type in isbn or asin to quickly go to the right spot if I can't be bothered scrolling down and trying to catch it.
