      Having sex?
      
      There are too many variables. I've had 2 serious relationships. One was my husband. But I've had 6 sexual partners... each has his own significance in my life.

      I have have been married three times. One man I have married twice. he is the man i am married to now, then I married my boys father in between breakup with my current  and first husband. My life is crazy..

      It's hard to say because I don't know how you are using the term "Girlfriend". I've had lots of girlfriends that I have dated and I've had lots of friends that are girls.

         I'll be 23 next month and I've only had five boyfriends. What can I say, I'm a serial monogamist. I don't feel like I've missed out and I don't want to date around...I like being with one person. You can date 100 people and not learn anything from them or learn anything about yourself. On the flip side, there are people who date one person for their entire life and never question what it would be like to date anyone else.

                     yes, well, boyfriend finding was what I was mainly trained and prepared for!  Any woman of my age will tell you (if they are honest) that everything else was just a sideline.  I am not ashamed. but perhaps I should be!  and yes, I find everything funny today.  most days.  whatever.

   Ahh! 32 years old and I've had too many boyfriends. I wouldn't even know what number to guess. The thing is though, too many is because it was one mean guy after the other. Not nearly enough nice guys on that list.

   I can honestly say my very first boyfriend is my now husband.  Sure we dated on again off again through highschool but, as a true boyfriend he was really my only one!

         That is up to you, however many or few you choose to date. I don't think anyone can, in all seriousness, suggest how many or few girlfriends / boyfriends it is appropriate for other people to have.

            Well, the principle stands.  God brought Eve to Adam in His perfect timing.  God did not create multiple women and have Adam "try out" and see which one he liked better.  God plan is to bring to people together in His timing.

               It never ceases to amaze me that all kinds of people are speaking for God lately!  How can you possibly know (and don't quote the freekin Bible at me) whether God intended for us all to run around hooking up with multitudes of people.  I mean, it says that he wanted us to go forth and multiply - I mean, that makes it more fun, doesn't it?  Some people who think God thinks like a maiden aunt are probably just scared of other people, and want to justify their own lack of sexual appetite, is what I think!

                  I do not "speak for God".  I simply believe what He says in His Word, and I base my life on what He says.  Therefore, when explaining why I believe what I
                  do, I use Scripture-God's Word.  What God intended and designed is clearly written in His Word.  Yes, He wanted us to "be fruitful and multiply" WITHIN the proper restrains of marriage.  It is not a free-for-all design.  Yes, God creates us with sexual desires.  Thats why He gives no limit to intimacy between married couples. O, and I would be careful refering to God's Word as you did-that is blasphemy and you are on dangerous ground.  For you see, it is not just a book, it is God's Word.  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

                     Hey, you can't threaten me with hell, now.  I've been on my way there for a long, long time, it doesn't make an impact anymore to hear bible thumpers railing at me that I'm blaspheming.  I would be blaspheming if I believed like that and had to justify everything I think according to a book that may or may not have been written by a whole bunch of people some 2000 or so years ago!  So, preach in Sunday school and don't expect to convert us heathen on the forums, especially when we're in a non-religious thread.  There are many like me who don't like having christian biblical theosophy shoved at us when we're discussing how many gd boyfriends or girlfriends we've had!  and as for sin - that one is right up there - thou shalt not preach all the time, lest you get even more boring than you already are!

                        Because my initial reply was not meant to start a debate on this issue, I do not plan to continue this conversation.  Not because you intimidate or stump me, but because you have obviously hardened your heart against God , and are set on going to Hell. "If God be for us, who can ne against us?" I do not believe that anything I say will convince to give your heart to God, therfore I will not continue this conversation.  Just know, that when you die, you will go to Hell and it will not be a party-it is a real place and I pity you! O,and just for the record, the Lord commands us to spread the gospel, so I am not sinning when I share God's Word, but rather obeying.  Know, also, that my life is anything but boring when I serve the Lord Almighty!

                           see, the fun thing is, people like me can relax! yeh.  because no heaven, no hell, no god, no sin, just be the best you can be, and relax!  You do have to use your own mind and compassion for others and accept that they are crazy or weird or stupid or whatever the heck they are that makes them talk like that.  Same as you kinda feel better about it all if you accept that you're not any better than they are.  It makes you feel so, so, I don't know . . . free!  and when people like you spout out about how us all are headed for hell, we just smile.    By the way, if what we've been doing in this thread here is what you consider a "conversation" then, I do feel sorry for you!  We haven't shared any ideas, we've just poked our fingers at each other.  but relax, you're not gonna have to worry about god's vengeance - because . . . god is not there!  the only one threatening everlasting damnation is you.

    I am currently dating my first (and probably only ) boyfriend.  We waited until the right time and are doing things the right way.  I do not believe one must date many before they find "the one".  God brought is together in His timing, and we are following His leading, so I believe I have met "the one".  Thankyou Lord!

    what does a boyfriend consist of?  Once they are over the age of, say, 30 - do they still qualify as boyfriends?  shouldn't we start calling them manfriends at some point? or significant others?  or something - just to recognize that they aren't boys anymore. On second thought, maybe they are always boys - and women are really always girls?  oh hell I'm just trying to avoid the question.
    
    100?  1000?   what IS the correct answer?  I want to get it right.  and anyway I think I lost count sometime after my divorce!    If anyone really NEEDS to know, I could probably put together a spreadsheet or something.  I don't think I should count all the one night stands.  Do you count those?

    Wow What a question! Spent my life dating and married 3 times. With a very southern baptist upbringing I was assured I would find Mr. Right. Finally at 40 I decided to find God within me instead of just being a child of God and trying to follow what preachers instructed and a bible that has been translated so many times in many diff languages. That lead me to also finally be honest with myself.  Now I am married again (4th times a charm) to my best friend and soulmate. Kim and I are newly married and very happy( not that we don't have some of the same issues all marriages face) So now to answer original question. I have had about 10 boyfrieds ( from age 14 -42) and 2 girlfriends :)and I married last one (age 47)
