Google Adsense - Does it expire??

   I'm a techno luddite.  So maybe I'm missing something I should have read.
   
   I set up Google Adsense 7 months ago and it was working fine.  Since payouts take a long time I haven't payed much attention to it.  But I looked and Google Adsense and it seems to have dropped off the map last October.  Page views showing but no clicks at all and no earnings whatsoever. 
   
   Hubpages program has been earning steadily, but no Google, nada...
   
   I did an experiment and had a friend click on an ad for me to see if it would show up, but still nothing.
   
   Do Adsense codes expire or something???
   
   Please help!  I missed out on 4 months of mediocre clicks somehow....

      A so-called "invalid click." The thing is, Google has more sophisticated ways to detect invalid clicks than you will ever know. Google does not give credit for it.

   No, they don't expire.
   
   You may have had your account cancelled - for example by having friends click on ads..
   
   Or the illegal  click  might have been on an HP view rather than one of yours.
   
   How much traffic do you get?  You only have seven hubs - I can very easily imagine making absolutely nothing from that small number.  You CAN make money fom just one, but that is more unusual - the more hubs, the more income possibility.

      I have about 1400 page views for 7 hubs since I started 7 months ago.  Made about 30 bucks until it stopped in October and about 4 from hubpages which is still accumulating.  But no notification from Google whatsoever.  If they were going to cancel an account, you'd think they would send an email or something.

         They would..  and you'd have messages when you log in to Adsense.
         
         1400 page views in 7 months would not be likely to get you much of anything..  I doubt there is actually a problem.

   Through snail mail, Google should have sent you a code which you insert in your account to confirm that the address you gave them is correct. If you do not confirm that, your adsense account will not register earnings.

   Keep in mind that 1000 page views per day in most cases can only fetch between $1 to $3. So i guess google might have suspected your account having some irrelevant clicks.

   Thanks for the help Fellas!  Hopefully I can this figured out.  It says I can't promote my own hub so I won't.  But to give you guys something for helping out. You can get FREE comics at my Graphicly account.  I can't give a website, but it's in Graphiclydotcom under CE Publishing in the publisher's section.  More Free stuff on the way too!  Monster sized comics for free...

   Exactly what ngureco and pauldeeds are suggesting happened to me. I never bothered to enter my PIN and so Adsense stopped activity on my account. They did not cancel my account. I believe I still had ads on my hubs (not certain, though); I just was not getting credit for any clicks or views. Once I got a new PIN and entered it, everything went back to normal. It was an easy fix.
