It is clear from my little experience out on Google that blogger is the preferred citizen reporter.
I have a blogger account and I fear that I am not using it properly and/or not to the full power to promote my hubs.
Are there guidelines? Specifically if I share a Hub Pages link to my blog, should I always write an introduction? If so, how short or how long? Blogger and Wordpress seem to work best in shorter presentations.
If the introduction is always written, is a teaser ending the best? Can a writer please give an example of a teaser to grab the reader.
Is the strongest link a text link back to that hub?
And lastly do the same rules for Tumblr apply?
Sorry for so many questions. I am trying to venture forth in the next step of this new "communications endeavor" - any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Generally the idea is to start out on revenue sharing sites, then when you take the next step into your own websites, you backlink from the rev share sites to buildup your website - not the other way around. Hubpages is a large site so already ranks well in Google - your website will rank lower because it is new and doesn't have half as many backlinks!
Blogger is good for starting out.
HOSTED wordpress (not free Wordpress) is good if you want to start building serious and easy to make, professional looking .com sites.
Oh, that figures, I had it backwards!
This is a world of help.
I apologize for the simple question. Still trying to find my way around and make this as profitable as it should be.
Thank you very much!
Also, if you're free blogging platforms were doing well enough to drive significant traffic to Hubpages, other than for trying things out (like I do), you would already have a huge traffic-generating, and wealth-creation site.
I've had free Blogger blogs for years, and contrary to the opinion of most, I make tens of thousands of dollars on them. The so-called "professional" looking sites, are necessary of course in some cases, but there is a reason and strategy behind having "ugly" blogs to generate revenue.

I looked at my hub scores today and cried. They have been falling steadily for two weeks from 70's & 80's to 60's and 70's with one 59. Today, one of my hubs has fallen to a 50. HP is sending me mixed signals. I am told to write in a niche that I am passionate about with...
