I am not happy. I was checking to see if it was indexed and I found this guy's copied article while I can't even find mine! It is my latest article published Dec. 26. I wrote the author and sent a message to the site. I will file a DMCA.
These thieves are here among us. It's so frustrating when this happens. I just found him here on HP with the same name and flagged his profile. He joined 7 days ago.
It doesn't seem that a DMCA will be necessary - although a search produces two copies, both on scienceray, the search links produce nothing. Looks like he has already deleted them.
Have to wonder, though, how many other hubs he's stolen since joining.
The link is still there when I enter the title on google, but it is gone from the site.
It reports an error and says the page doesn't exist or has been moved.
Well, I said remove it immediately and someone did. Now I need to see mine indexed.
Yes, I wondered the same, if he has stolen others.
Now I can go to bed..
What you want to be when you grow up is cached by google and indexed.
Are you searching for the URL? If not, it may just be far down in the SERPs yet. Too far to be found. Search for the URL to see if it is indexed.
wilderness, sorry, I missed this post before commenting.
I wasn't searching for the URL, I was searching the exact title. Maybe I wouldn't have caught the stolen copy if searching the URL. Needless to say, I was very shocked to see a stolen copy at the top of the search. That guy needs to go down.
From other threads, it sounds like he is rather busy stealing content.
Another INSIDE JOB
Sorry to see you hit by this rubbish rebekah!
Perhaps HP can adopt a more aggressive policy with the thieves who have accounts on this site. Like publishing their identities and location for a starter!
Check the details on his website... and attack that site.. here we go again!
Put his name up rebekah... I don't see why we should give thieves Identity or Name Suppression! It was their choice to steal and fraudulently use the articles knowing that they were not their own! Let them hang their despicable heads in shame!
The site is an article site. Writers submit articles. His name is snowneo. There are other articles there, but not sure how many are his. It was late when I was dealing with it last night. I emailed him, posted a comment on the article and emailed the site owner, and flagged his profile here.
I submitted my URL to Bing and Google. We'll see how long it takes. I was wondering why I didn't have google traffic on the hub, that's why I checked. He must have caught it as soon as it was published because my hubs are generally indexed within a few hours of publishing. His cached article said he published it the 27. I published it late on the 26.
The same jerk who was stealing them and putting them on Triond. He even apologized to Izzy for stealing her hub...then he does it again?
Ah, I see that scienceray.com is a Triond site. I think all his articles were deleted from Triond a couple of days ago.
I posted about him the other day:
http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/89776
Someone else reported yesterday on another thread that his work had been stolen and when I followed the link it was still there early this morning.
Its here - stolen from winterfate, and it's still up. http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/89224?p … ost1919300
I hadn't see that thread. I guess we should keep these two threads going since he obviously is stealing right off the site. His profile is still here.
I haven't had time yet to see who owns scienceray.com, but it appears that there are other writers there also.
what a jerk. There's no apology in my mail. Maybe the site owner took it down.
My hub is now indexed. I had to enter my exact title with my screen name to find it. Cached snapshot today at 4:32:20 GMT.
Actually, I think he has just stopped listing his articles on his Triond profile. What an A...hole, especially after he apologized to Izzy for stealing her article.
I had send an email to Triond but obviously they have either not read it yet or they don't care.
The Thief is the one that Owns SNOWNEO dot com - he has a set up that has a Reseller Account with Hostgator and on that basis he is very vulnerable to have his site taken down!
But you should have a thread here specifically naming that site - so that his future clients also have a chance to see that he Steals!
SNOWNEO .com - what a sleeze.
Take a screenshot of his Triond profile with his redirect to Snowneo - And send your DMCAs via Hostgator - they will DUMP him.
I was shocked too, as last night I found one of my Hubs copied on several blogger and blogspot blogs, one copied by an alleged attorney. Reporting was easy, though and the blogs were taken down.

I write for a smaller niche, and it is seasonal. I have been penalized for this and am now forced to put all my information into one gigantic hub ... it looks awful, its ridiculously long and quite frankly many are going to land, go cross eyed and leave. In an attempt to salvage my writing which is...

New hubber here! (Well, sorta new. Started an account years ago and just checked back in.) Still trying to grasp the whole SEO thing and I'm wondering how long it takes to get a hub indexed and how to tell if you have been? Also, are articles on the niche sites more "findable" on google...

Topic: Why don't titles show up in Google???For example, here's a good title, posted on Oct. 5; "Why American Kids Can't Do Math"Not found in Google. Why not? Many of my articles, on other sites, appear next day or in a few days. I'm not in a hurry. But hubpages places a lot of...

I've been seriously starting to look at article submission software and ideas, and I was wondering what some of you are using? I know Lissie has a blog on this software,http://100sites-lissie.blogspot.com/200 … -cool.html which looks good, but I wanted to get more feedback on some other...

I just found that one of my Hubs was stolen in June 2014 and published in a magazine. I wouldn't have found out about it except that they have now put their magazine on-line. It was stolen by a slick looking magazine in Australia, and I am from the US. I told them if it wasn't...

The article in question was "Good Title and Caption Ideas for Content Creators". Here is the link to the unpublished page at least showing the url (https://discover.hubpages.com/technology/Caption-Ideas). I published this article on 2-21-22. There is usually a 1 day wait time for...
