Why, when I change a title on a Hub, does the web address stay the same as the old title? I think this is the problem that I have with a Hub that I was told needed revision. I revised it in every possible way but it is still getting rejected because of title and tags. However, I changed the title in the Hub but it still shows the old title in the web address. Why is this happening? How can it be corrected? Thanks
So that means I would have to delete the Hub and re-post it in order to correctly revise it right?
That is correct. Just be careful about "duplicate content" as long as the old hub is still indexed in the search engines (cache).
Ok...but do you have any idea how long it might remain in the search engines indexes?
It could be a matter of weeks. You could also contact HubPages in advance and ask if they will take note of your plans.
Okay, thank you, for your help, however, at this point I think I will just delete it and forget about it. I wrote it to answer a question someone had posted but it seemed to have a lot wrong with it so perhaps it is just better off left unwritten at his point since it was about Valentines Day and now its almost over.

After publishing a Hub, do you ever change the title? I have used title tuner to improve a Hub title, but I have never changed the title completely.

After changing the title of the hub, the URL remains the same. Does it affect the existing traffic or the position on Google ? How often the title could be changed ? Is it advisable or not ?

I hear the phrase, "mature a hub," a lot. What actually happens when a hub matures? I know people say that after a hub has matured (around six months) it starts to do much better. But what actually happens when a hub matures? Thanks!
