My city back when it was founded had two things...churches and truck stops....so they call the area Churchland and the mascot Truckers...proud to be a Churchland Trucker alumni.

We didn't have a mascot because I went to an Art School..

    http://www.da-arts.org/

same school as Yellow Card, Limp Bizcuit, PIxar artists, Disney animators, lots of actors.. they won a grammy last year. When I went we only had 500 students 8-12 and you had to audition to get in. (still do I believe)

    Ours was a cougar...

During halftime, a 45 year old chain smoking lady would take to the field in high heels and a mini dress, and proceed to grab the butts of the players

As I went to school in Sutton Coldfield, the mascot was also the town mascot, which came from the coat of arms of the Earls of Warwick.

I went to two different highschools. Our White Cloud mascot was an Indian.

I also went to Big Rapids highscool, and I think our mascot was a "bulldog." It's strange that our school mascot was the same as the Mascot at Ferris State University which was just a few blocks away.

The college kids and the highschool kids also hung out in Hemlock park. It was a small town back then, but I really liked Big Rapids. I remember on Halloween at 15 going to a college halloween party, It was outdoors, so nobody bothered to ask my friend and I why we were there. But, it sure was fun!

I attended Burlington High School in Burlington, Wisconsin.  We were known as the Demons.  I'll never forget the look on father's face when I walked into church one Sunday morning wearing my school jacket with an emblem of a demon on the front!
