Can any one tell me why my hub dropped so many points?

My hub that has received over 4,000 views and several hundred per day still has dropped from a 97 to 87 in one week. I'm still getting hundreds of views a day and I added original photos to my hub but it is still dropping. I'm confused.

I'm more curious about how you get such great views! I can't figure the points at all and keep hearing about going ahead and ignoring those scores

Only on a couple and I worked on them for hours and socially shared. For some reason those two clicked but most of mine have low views.

Kelley you are probably going to have your link snipped by moderators.  If you are going to post a link, next time do so in Extreme Hub Makeover, which is pretty much the only place it would be allowed and not considered self promotion.

Personally I doubt I would have even noticed the drop in hub score on my own portfolio.  Every day I hit the “1 day” column and look at my top 5 or 10 most viewed hubs.  I pay attention to any hubs that have risen in views, sometimes look and see where the traffic is coming from.  Temporary spikes are usually related to a sharing on facebook or pininterest or something like that.  One hub, always in the top five, increases in views every Sunday evening.  I pay attention to stuff like that, not HubScore.

All that being said, since you do know the score has dropped by 10 points or so, I’d maybe do two things.  For one, I’d check the time spent on the hub.  Are searchers actually reading it, or navigating away after a couple seconds?  Then I’d copy a couple random sentences, and paste into google search, and see if it comes up, meaning the hub had been copied.

Hi, this is to rmcrayne. Sorry kelleyward

I took one of your advice and did copy a snippet of my best hub and googled it. It has been copied and by a fake server at that posing as facebook.com. Do you have any advice on what I can do?

        Try this:

        http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/how- … -complaint

I'm not so tech savvy myself.  If you still can't figure out what to, start a thread in the Need Help forum.  Sir Dent found the address for me for filing DMCA on a site that recently copied 4 of my hubs.

The hub of mine that gets over 300 hits a day is currently at 77. It is rather short so I'm wondering if that is part of it.

Not sure things are a little unclear to me right now on what is helpful and what is not.
