   Okay, dumb question time. I can't find the "follow" button. How do I follow folks on Pinterest?? Thanks!

   When I click on the "pin" buttom, says I can log in using Twitter.  I do that and it says I don't have an account.  I go to Twitter and it says the app for Pinterest is approved.  I'm stuck.  Any help please.

      Same thing happened to me, Mary. I had to repeat the process about 8 times before it worked.

         Not sure if it's not having a clue or simply not caring! The modern teen and twenty year old thinks nothing of copying hundreds of songs, movies etc - sadly it's the way the world is going, and music companies are struggling with this rather than finding ways to monetize it! It's wrong I know - but it is the way of the world!

      In particular, this section is exactly why those  of us who want it to be optional do want it to be optional:
      Pinterest is moving towards correcting these flaws. Pinterest is currently following the Digital Millenmium Copyright Act, and will remove any image that someone claims is violating copyright laws.
      
      "In addition, Pinterest is letting publishers embed a “Pin It” button directly on their website, which is a virtual permission slip for people to share content"
      
      That has been the claim of us who are worried about the button all along if we want to back a DMCA claim. And here is proof that this was what the intention of that button is.
      
      At the same time, hubbers who want the button  would have the button. Both sides happy.

         It sounded like this was a way to keep anything from being "pinned," which also I took as if someone had added the PIN button to their browser, they still could Not pin!!!
         I hope This is what Hubpages will add to our profiles to choose, or just taking the Pin button off our page does not stop the issue altogether.

            What I beleive they are trying is using
            
            <meta name=”Pinterest” content =”no pin”/>
            
            per subdomain - this should allow you to opt-out of being pinned regardless of how someone does it.
            
            HP is testing this - but is not sure whether sub-domains are recognised as separate sites on Pinterest.
