I am just curious, how many people believe in guardian angels. When you post the reply, please mention whether you are a catholic, protestant or non-believer

emdi, YES, I do believe in guardian angels as well as warrior angels, angels of music, consolation, protection and comfort. Hebrews 13:2 is proof enough for me. Thanks for this very-interesting question.

Is it guardian angels or just dumb luck? I can never tell anymore, though I still think the answer is subjective.

I do, but wouldn't call it that. I am a Pagan. More like my spiritual second self. But then again it may have helpers, even myriads.

If you refer to a supernatural, undetectable creature that floats around and makes your life better - well, with absolutely zero evidence for such a thing why in the world would anyone believe?

On the other hand, parents are the guardian angles for their children.  Many people try to improve the lives of others, helping out as they can - they also could be considered guardian angles.  Children may take on the role for aging parents as well, watching out for that parent.

I guess I would be a non-believer.  Until evidence of these kind of things is available I will withhold any belief one way or the other.

i believe events in my life have occurred to teach me something, and at the darkest moments, when i felt absolutely alone, something... occurred to make me see the light, be it my guardian angel or god, himself... it is comforting to know we aren't alone.  there have been dangerous times too... even when i did not realize my stupidity placed me there, but somehow, amazingly, i came out unscathed.  again, my guardian angel?  who am i to doubt it... Could I chalk it up to luck, I can't.  I am the most unluckiest person I know.  great question, though, and i be a protestant... take care.

hello, meow, (that rhymed), you are NOT unlucky, but maybe a victim of circumstantial coincidences. This is an event that the human mind sees the logic of the event and cannot determine whether it was planned or just happened...and our SELF is always used as the convenient target for tragic circumstances. YOU are blessed to be alive. Remember that. And The Almighty looks after you and His own. I can fully relate and understand where you are coming from. Its like when I am absent from church one Sunday, when I go back I hear that the ones who did go had THE BEST service ever....I instantly think to myself, maybe it was me who was in the way. See what I mean?

thanks, emdi, and kenneth, it is a strange and wonderful thing to look back on the most darkest moments and achieve that understanding.

Well I've been involved in four car accidents, three of which left the car in a seriously smaller state than before the crash. In each case I got out without so much as a scratch or bruise. Then I've also had countless near misses in rain, fog, ice, ranging from high speed head ons, pirouette spins up to 90mph, to slow speed T-bones. Perhaps I have empiracle evidence for the existence of guardian angels, or maybe I'm like Bruce Willis in Unbreakable.

By the way, I'm neither Catholic, Protestant, or non-believer. I just believe the Jesus is who he said he is.
