I've seen a few mentions of "sales hubs" around the forum.  I can't quite glean from the context if a sales hub is 1) A Hub written specifically around a certain product with Amazon capsules added, or 2) Any Hub with an Amazon capsule added.

I guess I'm asking how you would define a sales Hub, and what you would say are the key components.

A sales hub is characterized by that it is intended primarily to promote a product. A book review with an Amazon capsule would not necessarily be a sales hub, since the sales element is often secondary.

Unless of course I wrote the review with a view to promoting sales lol

      Got it.  Thank you!

Glad the sun is shining for everyone, I guess.  :-)

Exactly, which is why I wrote "not necessarily" and "often."

Granted, but the sun is shining here and it brings out the silliness in me.

Mind you, not as much as it was yesterday when it left me entirely speechless (almost).

No the sun is out and it is 11 degrees.  But don't worry it is forecast to rain all weekend! Ironically the SE of England is officially in drought as we have had a very dry winter smile

            Really?

Drought in winter - must be a first!

I think the Spanish authorities are over the moon at the rain today because there is a nation-wide water shortage here too (unsurprisingly).

Sorry to keep back on topic, sales hubs are, as has been said, written to promote a product or range of products.

I once sold a $1400 greenhouse just by extolling the benefits of having one.

Just once, mind. Must have been a fluke sale!

I'm glad we got the European weather report out of this question. Greg
