I have no way to verify this article's veracity, BTW.

You got that right!  Look at how many voted for Obama the first time!

Dems are urging D voters to vote for Santorum because they think he'll be easier for Obama to beat.

OK...that's great.  I like that reasoning. Should have thought of that.  I panicked!  Thanks.  I feel better now.

I think it sux. Republicans should be able to choose their candidate without Dem mischief votes.

"You know what they say about Kharma..."

Exactly. Remember Operation Chaos? Right-wingers going all around the country voting for Hilary so Obama would lose?

It was even co-ordinated through their radio and tv stations.

                Yep--karma's a B.

That's written in a very conservative paper. Santorum has no way of beating Obama if he somehow gets the GOP nomination. What a sad state for the GOP, they have no one.

Like UW said, their logic could easily backfire. The article quoted someone saying, the US is primarily conservative.  I hardly think Santorum is what I would consider conservative.

Well, I just saw some exit polls in MI, and it's true that a substantial number of Dems have cast votes in the MI GOP primary. They overwhelmingly voted for Santorum. I think this is dirty, no matter which party does it.

I think so too. Primary's in Florida are closed to only the registered voters for the particular party. Democrats couldn't vote here in the GOP primary. Primary's should keep the focus on voting for the candidate of choice. Politics is so degrading now. It's really a shame.  Did you hear recently what McCain said about SuperPacs?  I'll see if I can find it and post it here.

“I’ve been in very tough campaigns. I don’t think I’ve seen one that was as personal and as characterized by so many attacks as these are. And, quite frankly, one of the reasons is the Super PACs. And why do we have the Super PACs? Because of the ignorance and naïvete of the United States Supreme Court in the Citizens United campaign.” JM

Oh, that's interesting. I guess in some way I see their logic. Romney turned his back on the workers of his own home state.

The election process is flawed on all counts, from the top down. So what else can candidates expect other than the same games they play..

Yes, I am a democrat and i would vote for the 'twit' Santorum only to put a monkey wrench in the Romney drive toward the nomination. Gotta keep that GOP away from the White House.

It's a dangerous game to play and could easily backfire.

Are you kidding? I don't know how he got elected to public office in the first place; he shouldn't be in charge of his own bodily functions let alone an entire country. He's a complete idiot zealot. He would never get elected.

I'm not sure if I believe it but I sure wouldn't doubt it, Conservatives are working hard to rid themselves of Santorum, every hub I read that is politically based has a little pop up about how he is a fake conservative, lol. I don't think he is a fake, he's just a little too far to the right to win.

He is far from being conservative, he is borderline radical. Hardcore jerk. My opinion, Greg

Yeah, right. How could anyone who hates Santorum vote for him just to play games with the nomination process? I couldn't do that, but I suppose there are people who might not have a conscience.

Well that is very sad. Just more dirty politics. Keep Obama as president and let's turn this great country into something more like the UK. Eventually and hopefully the moderate democrats will regret their vote. I escaped from a Socialist motivated country to come to a country that had more to offer. I mean take a look at most of the European countries. You think they are going under because they are ran more like America than the UK?  One more term of Obama?????  The Dems have no idea what they are getting themselves into. Good luck with that!

    Here's a stat I just saw:

"In GOP primary, 10% of voters were Democrats. Among Democrats, 50% voted for Santorum, 15% for Romney."

    Hardly a drove.
