Mom sells George Washington shaped McNugget for $8K

You might want to pack your Chicken McNuggets on ice next time the kids have leftovers. That's what mom Rebekah Speight did three years ago after she noticed one of her children's nuggets resembled George Washington. She recently retrieved the petrified poultry and made beaucoup bucks online, selling it for a cool $8,100 on eBay. Although the auction was originally taken down in violation of the e-commerce site's ban on selling expired foods, the sale was reinstated because Speight was raising money for charity.

No kidding!  But since it was for charity, I guess the buyer figured he/she should get something in remembrance of their contribution.

How stupid is that? I saw the McNugget, I did not see George Washington smile It's like seeing pictures in the clouds, you can see what you want to see.

Yeah, every now and then you hear about these kinds of things. It IS amazing and unbelievable that people will spend their money that way even if they have lots of money to spare.

I have a whole box of crackers that sure look amazingly shaped exactly like the moon (when it's full) - or else like Charlie Brown's head.  I wonder what I could get for them....   hmm             smile

Once I had a McNugget that looked like Mary holding the baby Jesus. I thought about saving it and showing it to the news people, but, I ate it instead.
