Old Science-Fiction TV.

   As there is little on TV that interests me now, I have turned to Youtube, where I have found many wonderful old supernatural and sci-fi tv shows.  The likes of Journey Into the Unknown, The Twilight Zone, Circle of Fear and Armchair Thriller.  TV goes in fashions, and there are few good supernatural or ghost stories made today.  Are there any other good shows for me to seek?

      I dunno if it's on YouTube, but everyone says the old episodes of Dr. Who are pretty good.
      
      I remember watching Space:1999 when I was a kid. I ran across a vid of it some time ago and was surprised at how good the effects are.
      
      Ray Bradbury Theater is a good series, in the same vein as the Twilight Zone, only most of the episodes are based on Ray Bradbury's writings. High quality stuff.
      
      And I seem to remember an Isaac Azimov-related series...or am I crazy? It's a very vague memory.....

   'One Step Beyond', TV. One of the great science fiction movies is the original 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' 1951.

      Thanks, I've just watched an episode on youtube.  It is exactly the kind of show I enjoy.  Another good one is 'The Outer Limits.'

   You can try the old school Dr. Who.  If you have Netflix, most if not the entire selection is available to stream.

   Dr. Who is a classic and a great series. There's also UFO a British sci-fi series from the early 70s.  Along that time frame, there are a number of sci-fi TV series by producer Irwin Allen, such as Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Time Tunnel and Lost in Space. I don't know if they can found in youtube, but there might be DVD sets of these classics.

      Oh, Lost in Space! I loved that show when I was a kid. I didn't realize it was meant to be a comedy until I was older.

   Alfred Hitchcock Presents and I don't know whether you all mentioning the original or the updated Outer Limits, but both are highly enjoyable. Similar to these I'd have to say would X Files.

   Anyone remember Blake's Seven? It was a 70s British sci-fi show. . . I'm off to look for it on YouTube.

    I can't get enough of the old Dr Who episodes and (as someone else said) Blake 7. Old sci-fi films too, there's just something special about them.

    I know the Dr. Who Show is very popular and I may watch some of it soon, just like Batman is, and News about the Batman's BatCar is what I know about on my blog.

    Twilight Zone and Outer Limits vids and clips at youtube keep me entertained! I haven't got any fancy TV package and, frankly, don't enjoy much of what is on TV these days, anyway.
    
    I ran across a PuffNStuff video on youtube earlier today - OMG I can't believe kids used to watch that in the 70's - it's SCARY! A clip of that will go well on a horror-movie hub...

       Originals like Star Trek are fun, then the original Battlestar Galatica. Dark Shadows, a vampire soap opera was fun too. Flash Gordon had a couple of incarnations. Then, there was the popular series The Invaders. It was a lot like the old Fugitive series, both were Quinn /Martin productions.

          You forget to mention Shazam!  (as gomer pyle would say ocassionally...)
          That program was on every Saturday at around say 11 am I believe.
          I don't know if it was syndicated then or not or what network it was on but,
          I believe it was attracted more toward the Younger Audience and had a
          lesson to teach in every episode. Just youtube it and you will find it.
