My traffic is up and my earnings are through the roof! All of a sudden there has been a dramatic spike.

I have done everything including deleting and UN-publishing hubs, removing capsules, removing links removing RSS feeds, updating my profile - following all the advise I can possibly gather. I have rewritten introductions, written original summaries, added more information, added better videos and photos, changed the photo capsule to thumbnail view and on and on. I have even caught some spelling errors in my review.

And the good news is does pay. The dollars are showing on my earnings.

I do this for fun not as a living. I am not a "writer", a simply love sharing. This is my scrapbook page of research on the Internet - all the things I love stored in one convenient place. I have always loved research and the Internet is a wonderful place. You see when I was small, we couldn't afford an encyclopedia and now I have the world at my fingertips.

I couldn't afford Barbie dolls and now I have about a dozen article of Barbie. I love jewelry and clothes and while finances are better I find the prices daunting but the articles are my collection. And I love the home remodeling and have literally hundreds of favorite photos for design ideas that I have collected.

Where are you in this journey with HubPages and Panda? Was this week your best week ever? Any predictions for the future? What makes you write?

This week was my best week ever and the traffic and earnings have been consistent. I was no where near last months earnings and I had a doubt whether I'd reach even half of February in terms of $'s. But, the constant traffic back to my peak of December has made it happen and today's updated earnings made me cross last months!!

I did edit and add a few photos and videos and re-wrote two of my earlier hubs as well as they were one of my earliest ones. I also had some Hub pages related hubs that were not receiving any traffic at all - max of 2 per week so deleted those and hence got just 25 hubs now. All of them doing well and getting me traffic.

Haha is that true? I guess your hubs are not at all optimized. I enjoy what I write but also include a single long tail keyword at least in my title!

See... I told you a year ago that with the right sock you'd be able to pick up a few cents with your left foot! big_smile

Now that you've taken that huge step... it might be worth while learning how to keep a breast of the others who want to put their best foot forward! big_smile

GmaGoldie - Thank you for for opening this thread, because your comments helped me a lot. Income was pretty steady, but my views declined more and more for about 4 days. After reading your post, I reworked some of my Hub Titles, removed several RSS feeds, and found a few much better images to use, then added some content to older Hubs. Reworking about 30 of them this week, I found traffic increasing today.

I'll keep updating Hubs out of my best 50 that may have fallen in views and those at the bottom of my list, all of which are older; then I'll gradually work toward the middle, which will probably sink to the end. RSS feeds were useful at one time, but now, on a few of my Hubs can benefit form them. My titles can always stand improving. I'm glad I found your thread!

    Thanks again!

    Patty
