I got a copyright warning that my content has been copied, a while ago.  I ignored it because the blog was in Spanish.  I thought today, maybe they just translated it into Spanish and stole it that way.

It turns out that is what they did!  So I am trying to file a DMCA complaint, but can't find where to email it because the site is all in Spanish.  Here is the site...

    http://vietskin.com/pt/

I can't navigate it, and can't find the place to email.  Any help on where you think I ought to mail this would be appreciated!  Hubpages bots, or whatever picked up copied content in another language, that is amazing to me.

Just file a DMCA through webmasters tools and let Google worry about it.

They won't be stealing your traffic anyway as it is probably a very small percentage of Spanish speakers bother with English speaking websites.

Thanks Izzy.  I haven't had to really do that before now, and hadn't thought about it that way.  I had just never thought about my content being copied by being translated word for word into another language.

Once I figure this DMCA thing out completely, I will do that.  I was using Hubpages letter, and looking for a place to email it.  I will search for "webmasters tools" as that is the second time I have heard of that today, but again, I am still learning.

      Actually that is Portuguese.

Has you can see at vietskin.com there is an automatic translation plugin, so you should find your article in english there, because the articles in other languages are just automatic translations from the english articles.

Which is why I asked this question here.  The article I showed in the link, is not the one that was copied.  I have taken Spanish, and recognized a lot of the words on my own article.

Thanks for that, I had no idea I could see my article there in English. It makes it even more strange kind of, why did HubPages link me to the non English speaking version of what was copied?  Oh well...  From the link I have, I can't read how to get to the English versions.  Again, you all know a lot more than me.

It is one of my "goofiest" hubs ever, here is a link to it

            http://oceansnsunsets.hubpages.com/hub/ … Addictions

For a long time, I thought it was a glitch, but it occurred to me one day, it is word for word I think in another language, which I for sure thought was Spanish.

I took down my own photos I HAD on there, that were copied there, thinking that was it at first.  That didn't make the copyright sign go away though.  Anyway, thanks for answering and helping.

              Here:

              vietskin.com/lip-care/lip-balm-lip-gloss-chapstick-addictions

Articles with the same title but translated:

              vietskin.com/fr/lip-care/lip-balm-lip-gloss-chapstick-addictions

              vietskin.com/pt/lip-care/lip-balm-lip-gloss-chapstick-addictions

              Another translation:

              vietskin.com/tag/lipgloss-der-g%C3%B8r-l%C3%A6berne-st%C3%B8rre

This should be enough for the DMCA.

Your content is probably feeding a family of 12 out there. Mama is getting a new dress for the temple. Papa gets his toxic local tobacco and every one gets 'Calvin Klien' underwear (that shreds itself in a week).
