    2)    Click the green button "answer this question".
    3)    Click the gray button below the box (leave that empty) that says "make a Hub about it."
    4)    Give your Hub a very specific title, like Easy Summer Gardening Projects for Kids or Challenging Summer Activities for Teens
    5)    Create good quality original content that hasn't been covered before.
    6)    After you publish your Weekly Topic Inspiration Hub, come back to this forum thread and post a link to your Hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.

I hope mine isn't too off-topic - I was inspired by Peg's hub and loved how she used real examples from her career. It made me think 'hold on, I have worked in retail for years, what advice could I share?'

How Do I Increase Sales? 15 Methods to Increase Retail Sales

      1. Simone Smith profile image87
Simone Smithposted 12 years agoin reply to this

Are you kidding? Sales skills DEFINITELY fall under the category of business skills, and it's awesome that you're drawing on personal experience. That's the best way to go!

I love the advice you've shared and all the original images you've used. They really do add authenticity to the Hub, which is big, because a lot of business-related guides online are written by people who don't really know what they're doing.

You know, with that in mind, I might even recommend mentioning your experience somewhere in the first text capsule to let readers know right away that you have had real experience and really know your stuff wink

Great advice: "Don't be lazy in learning." I wish I could count the times my co-workers have scoffed at the idea of taking a course or learning something new. They say, "is it going to cost me money?" or "I don't have any time," or "I'm too old to go back to school..."

      Also like your subscripting.

This hub may change my mind about personality tests...We have a running joke in my family of when my son took an assessment test to find out what type of career he should have and one of the top answers was "River Boat Captain". He has no desire to have anything to do with bodies of water.  I still sometimes refer to it and call him "Captain". Yet, as I think about it, he is his own boss and works outside...hmmm
