Jews have traditionally seen Jesus as one of a number of false messiahs who have appeared throughout history. Jesus is viewed as having been the most influential, and consequently the most damaging, of all false messiahs. However, since the universal Jewish belief is that the Messiah has not yet come and that the Messianic Age is not yet present, the total rejection of Jesus as either messiah or deity in Judaism has never been a central issue for Judaism. At the heart of Judaism are the Torah, its commandments, the Tanakh, and ethical monotheism such as in the Shema — all of which predated Jesus.

The Mishneh Torah, an authoritative work of Jewish law, provides the last established consensus view of the Jewish community, in Hilkhot Melakhim 11:10–12 that Jesus is a "stumbling block" who makes "the majority of the world err to serve a divinity besides God".

Even Jesus the Nazarene who imagined that he would be Messiah and was killed by the court, was already prophesied by Daniel. So that it was said, "And the members of the outlaws of your nation would be carried to make a (prophetic) vision stand. And they stumbled." Because, is there a greater stumbling-block than this one? So that all of the prophets spoke that the Messiah redeems Israel, and saves them, and gathers their banished ones, and strengthens their commandments. And this one caused (nations) to destroy Israel by sword, and to scatter their remnant, and to humiliate them, and to exchange the Torah, and to make the majority of the world err to serve a divinity besides God. However, the thoughts of the Creator of the world — there is no force in a human to attain them because our ways are not God's ways, and our thoughts not God's thoughts. And all these things of Jesus the Nazarene, and of (Muhammad) the Ishmaelite who stood after him — there is no (purpose) but to straighten out the way for the King Messiah, and to restore all the world to serve God together. So that it is said, "Because then I will turn toward the nations (giving them) a clear lip, to call all of them in the name of God and to serve God (shoulder to shoulder as) one shoulder." Look how all the world already becomes full of the things of the Messiah, and the things of the Torah, and the things of the commandments! And these things spread among the far islands and among the many nations uncircumcised of heart.

We've been through this before, in another thread.

Jesus is the Savior.  Yes He is the "stumbling block".  But indeed only a stumbling block to those who refuse to see Him for the Savior He is.

They have access to knowing.  They can read the New Testament.  Especially Matthew 28. But alas many do not read it.

@brenda but why should they read it...they have ot and according to them jesus failed miserably in prophecies given in ot...secondly jesus was not first person to be dubbed as messiah by his followers....many before him where claimed to be messiah...jews knew more about messiah and so could easily spot difference...since messiah concept it their concept...they set rules of who messiah should be...

Why should they not read it?
Those people supposedly seek enlightenment.  I would think they'd consider all the possibilities instead of being so "close-minded" like they often accuse Christians of being.
As for me, I've read some of the history of Muhammad and Buddha, etc.   None of it rings a bell from the get-go.

No, it's not the Jews who "set rules".  It was God Himself.  And Jesus fulfilled all the qualifications for "Messiah".   And no other person who claimed Messiahship even comes close to Jesus's words, actions, Sacrifice, legacy, Love, compassion, selflessness, etc., perfection, period.

                  Not anymore.
The Biblical history of the Jews shows how they kept straying from God.  Yes, God continued to draw them toward Him.  Yes, He will always do so.  But no, they are not exclusively His people anymore.   God will continue to draw ALL men toward Him, to offer whosoever will believe in Him, Salvation.  I can provide Scriptures from both Old and New Testament that show how Salvation was extended to Gentiles, and how not all Jews are God's "Israel".
When we stray, God has the power and the right to revoke our "privileges".  Only one "privilege" remains, and that is the privilege of returning to the Savior.  And that "privilege" is extended to ALL people, in and from any Nation in the world.

What happens when there are too many saviors and too many one sided groups and their only ways to God plan.

What is the problem with having only one savior in the World?,
One World order, Hitler tried it with :God is with US. The USA was tying it  : in God WE TRUST: with half the Wars World budget and Quarter of the World's jails.

My Orders is like a co creator with God, as we are all God, (No conflict in that) It's about love, kindness and with the live the let live style.

To join any One World Religion robots and  zombie program would only create more terror and strong arm brainwashing as many leaders have tried to keep ruling the World with any demon-like way they can.

No, it is warthog who is the savior and people who are lead by Satan think some other fellows as savior. Brenda if you want to be saved accept warthog as your savior and let your mind be open that warthog can come inside your mind and show you the way. Now your being led by Satan.
