Hi folks, is there any minimum amount or number of articles that I must place on Hubpages before Google approves my link up with Hubpages. I already have an account with adsense and have been told I do not have enough content. i see google already has ads on my the one Hub I do have. Whats going on ? smile

I am not sure of the exact amount of content, but I believe there is also a 90 day window for most users. But don't quote me on that, heard it through a grape vine...

The process will go faster for the Google thing if you register a gmail address, use it as your hubpages address, then with that gmail sign up for a simple blogger account, post even one page of content that is something good ( whatever that means right? ), and then use the blogger page, sign up from the blog page for Adsense, it will take much less time. If you have to wait for Google and Hub Pages to verify everything it can take some time. This has been my experience. There might be other opinions out there.

      Vin,
The 10 Hub rule suggestion is for applying for Adsense from HubPages. If you already have an Adsense account then you can associate it right away. I have another account here with only 1 Hub and I have successfully associated my Adsense with it.

The general forum wisdom seems to be that it is safer to have at least 10 good hubs before applying. There is no firm rule.

The ten article suggestions was picked up from the Google adsense forum replies ... and seems to have worked well for many.. who come from geographical locations that warrant a six month wait period.

@ Vin - if you already have an adsense account you could associate your account following the step by step guide in the FAQ right away.

From where did you get the information that you have less content? I am curious.

"Insufficient" content means simply you should create more content. Money will not automatically flow after just one hub written and published. As soon as you have about 5 hubs written (which can have audio, video, photos and written articles) you will have sufficient content. 10 is better if you want!

Best of luck with your hubs and Adsense!
