I published my 50th hub today.

I've got about 11 bucks in my adsense account.

I'm a horribly moody mean person this week, aggravated and stressed, and I took it out on the best creative outlet on the Internet.

I'm sorry.  I deleted as much of the fur flying I spewed today as I could, with the exception of things that had been quoted, and hope my going ape bonkers today doesn't adversely affect how we all work together.

The contest still frustrates me, I don't agree with how some things are being handled, but I reeeeeaaallly want the chance at that camera.  The rest of the prize pack would just be a superbonus in my mind, that camera would equal a possible new career move for me.

I love you, Hubpages, even if you do make me want to pull my nonexistant hair out some days.

Maybe they can split the prizes into 4....lol.

Seriously this thing is stressful.  I was only able to do a few hubs today since my school is retarded and blocks this site =_=.

Gaahh. Congrats on your 50th hub, and for 2nd place today smile

ha!! That would be neat.  It would kind of defeat the purpose of the "Killer Blog" thing though. tongue

I'm trying.  My dog chewed up my new 50 dollar surge protector, my Pell Grant check is late, and my right shoulder is messed up.  Work is making my brain hurt, and I am so frazzled right now trying to keep up with the time I have in this contest.

But I'm trying to keep positive.  I just hate feeling like I have lost out before things really even started. sad

Oh, lady, I know what you mean.  I had plans for this long weekend long before I knew about the HubLove Contest, so I missed out on what looks like a pivotal few days.  At least you're in a place you can still make things happen.  I came back and looked at the scoreboard and decided, better to just give up now and save myself the stress.

    Good advise!

...And I remember Pell checks being late and student loan checks going missing - always a whole quarter late. A roommate even hid a scholarship check once, so I moved immediately.

    Best thoughts to you! smile

Gamergirl, try getting some Arnica for soreness.  It comes it these cute little crystals (can't think of the proper word) that dissolve under your tongue.  It also comes in cream form, so you can rub it directly on your shoulder.  My left shoulder is the bugger in my life.  Arnica saves my butt.

    Gamergirl,

There are a lot more points available later in the contest than in the early stages.

There's something to be said for pacing yourself, and then swooping in relatively fresh in the last week, when the people who have been doing 10 hubs a day for three weeks are melting down, and all the big points are on offer.

Hey Gamergirl - no worries.  We still love you here no matter what.  I'm actually kind of glad that I put the competition into perspective for me (yes, I'd love the package, but can I really devote enough time to get it??)  Anyway - I'm still hubbing away and trying to guess the clues.  Glad to see that you're still in the running!  You're one of the best in my opinion.

I know, I know.  I threw myself a righteous hissy fit, acted like a complete jerk (Sorry Jason, if you see this) and could only mop up some of the mess.

I actually was inspired by something Stacie said, and so instead of writing hubs while I was supposed to be working, I saved the topics I wanted and left them invisible, unpublished until I could snag my way into them.  I finished my schoolwork relatively easily tonight, so here I am hubbing away.

I think I'm only going to get 6 in tonight, which is twice what I have been averaging (or there abouts).

It looks like I'm looking at about 5 for today. I can't neglect my other stuff. Plus, I'm way too picky and tend to overwrite and overdo things. The ones I've posted today aren't up to my standard of approval even. Ha!

I published a few hubs for the "jokes" theme. Because it seemed like a lot of fun.

But being a non-US resident disqualifies me from winning anything if I did put in an all out effort.

If another daily theme grabs my attention I'll probably give it another shot. It's easy to get caught up in the enthusiasm and excitement.

    Congrats on 50 hubs!

Y'know...I don't know you all that well and I hope I'm not overstepping here, but seems like you could use one of these:
