Is there a Zombie Apocolypse in our future?
Some Americans believe it is starting to happen. As for the forensics department in Miami,Florida they feel that the new fad of smoking "bath salts" was the cause of the horrific mauling of a homeless Miami man. On Memorial Day 2012 Ronald Poppo 65 a homeless man was brutally attacked by Rudy Eugene on a busy Miami highway in broad daylight. Eugene naked and clearly mentally distorted consumed 75% of Poppo's face. Eugene chewed at Poppo's eyes, mouth, nose and most of his face for 18 minutes. When the 911 calls started flowing into the police station frantic callers made it sound like a Hollywood movie. When an officer was flagged down by a worried pedestrian, he was amazed at what he saw. The officer demanded Eugene to stop. After many attempts to stop the horrific murder attempt the officer opened fire on Eugene. The first few shots did not affect the real life Zombie. After firing four shots into Eugene the attack was over.
As far as I know Poppo is still hospitalized in critical condition.

A second Zombie like attack happenef in Harford County,MD. A 21 year old man murdered his roommate and consumed his heart and part of his brain. Alexander Kinyua was arrested after his brother found body parts in Alexander's basement. His brother suspicious of his findings told their father what was found. When he went to check out Alexander's house, the body parts were missing. Alexander has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder and held without bail. "Bath salts" were suspected use in this case as well.
Has bath salts started a Zombie pandemic?

Some Americans are amazingly gullible, from what I can see.

There's a huge difference between "zombie-like behaviour" and actual Zombies.  Huge.

I'm not saying I feel these men were zombies, instead I feel they were deranged individuals.

Exactly!  Your post appeared to be presenting them as evidence, which they clearly aren't.

Cannibalism isn't really that new of a concept... doing something weird while on drugs is REALLY not that new of a concept.  Being mentally altered and not responding to pain... that's pretty normal too.

Having instant access to any weird news in the entire world?  That skews the perception a bit.

I'm sure that at least one person in the world is eaten everyday and has been for quite sometime... Likely way more than one but lets play conservative.  We just didn't know the particular circumstances until the internet.

For F... sake. I am sick to death of hearing about zombies. They were not zombie attacks. I thought zombies had to be dead... Zombies are not real...just psychos who have started believing this stupidity.

Remember Jeffrey Daumer... and others who have eaten body parts, etc. ?

    End of rant lol
