I emailed a few of you, but everyone should look over the hubs on this guys account at Flixya. Scroll down past the videos to see his articles. Many of them he did write the first paragraph and the rest of the articles are copied word for word from hubs. //www.flixya.com/user/mani8251  Add the http to the address.

I checked the site and saw only six blogs under the videos, none of which I recognized. Am I missing something?

Thanks for sharing this information Barbara. I just went to his blog to check if he copied any of mine. So far so good.

Yep, mine has gone too, but the copier still remains.  Now this is the problem with these sites, including our own.

It is virtually a certainty that ALL this guys articles and videos are stolen.  That's one point.

The next thing is that ANY ID that contains four numerics such as FRED2343 or James5432 is again, almost certainly a scammer and copier.

But hey.  No one, such as Google, HP, Squidoo, Flixya, etc. gives a flying f---- about copied content.

"Oh yes, file a DMCA".  How come it is impossible to tell that an article is not an original?

Oh yeah.  It can't be done automatically because ya-di-ya.  Simply put, the WHOLE industry makes money out of our content - and whether it is copied or not - only matters to US.

Rant over.  It is what it is.  Pity, but hey, no one gives a shit about me, and I return the favour.  Apart from fellow hubbers of course and that is the GREAT thing about this place - We are HubPages or any other site - because it is OUR content and OUR camaraderie that keeps the thing going.

Oh well, that's my argument over.  Sorry about that Misty, but I hope you know what I mean.

MOST ID's containing a four character number are spammers.  Apologies to all those who are genuine with a year or something special in their ID.

Actually lets just say any numbers are suspect.

One minute of checking the Latest Hubs, great additions to the internet all of them...

                http://jakedrake375.hubpages.com/hub/To … ting-Sites

I don't bother looking anymore normally, no one cares, but it's a good way to spot them if you can be bothered.

I haven't flagged it either.  Not my problem.

Wonder how hard it would be to check all profile ids without a pic and with a number in their name?

Must be really difficult I guess?

I see an article copied from Mark Ewbie on this site - just an FYI to him. I don't see any of mine. Thanks for the heads-up, Barbara!

OK thanks guys. I have sent a DMCA.  Flixya make it easy to report these people.

To be honest, the article did not seem to appear in the search results so maybe copiers like these have little chance of ranking in a post Panda / Penguin world.

I just sent a couple off yesterday for the same hub; Blogspot again and an Italian site. I reported the Blogspot one to Google and the Italian one to Adsense since they have Google ads. It is losing traffic so I just want to make sure they are not the reason. The blogspot blog is crap and I doubt it gets any traffic at all.. but it's the principle...

That one (flixya) has been showing up in my copied Hubs for ages now.  For some reason, when I looked into it (or least into a couple of them) I ran into a dead end.  I don't know if it was a matter of my not wanting to be bothered following up more, or if it was one the usual varieties of dead end.  My point is, though, that site has been copying Hubs for ages; so I'm thinking at this late stage in his game he's got tons and tons of copied Hubs.
