My potential earnings have gone down the pan.
My comments box rapidly fills up with spam.
I tried and I tried, then enthusiasm died.
Writing pages, now I just say blog it,
    whenever I can.

Thank you smile not the sort of thing I usually share, but this sort of rhyming game helps to put a smile on my face.

      My traffic is up
      To a dollar a day
      Yes spam is crap
      What can I say?

      Just roll up your sleeves
      And spit on your palms
      Ignore carpal tunnel
      Forget your peeves.

      Never made no dough
      Bread, nor clams you know
Didn't create a space where folks wanted to go

      Couldn't write squat
      Didn't like what I got
Strung words together and came up with naught

      Finally said "hey"
      It's just day by day
Who cares if people like my junk anyway

      If only...

    Writings OK
    well, it was anyway.
    But now it is KO'd
    and slipping away.

I am a gardener at heart
    and always knew I was
    from the very start.

I know how to dig in
    and go with the flow.
That the crops that fail this year
    next year will grow.

Two years now going on three.
The build up and turn over
    was very good to see.

Just lately I have to admit
    my enthusiasm is now
in the bottom of a pit.

    I know what it takes
    to make things grow
    but Google strikes very low.

Each time I start to climb
    someone expects me to
    turn on a dime.

I really am not at all in one of my peeves
just thinking and rolling up my sleeves.

And each time I take another look
    someone has re-written the book.

I think I am well past strife
just thought I would share a bit of
a day in the life... of.

      Ignore all your troubles
put the cat in the bag
      Googles naught but bubbles
      let your tail wag

      Shake up the soda
pop the cap with a bing
      Yahoo fills the quota
      your traffic will sing.

Man I totally suck as a poet! If it ain't fun, quit for a while. I took six months off last year.

    The revenue search continues,
but appears to be in vain.
    Paradigmsearch has concluded,
that the internet is a pain.

So it's off to buy a lottery ticket.
    The odds are better there.
    Will things ever get better?
    Hope springs eternal,
but it's really best not to care.

And, no. I have no delusions that I'm a poet. big_smile

      Aww, let me try:

      i never made no money
      on Hub Pages
      it is true
the ads you see annoyed me
      and i didn't know
      what to do
      I wasn't born to shop
      I did not
      have a clue
      So I went non commercial
      gave up on
      zero revenue
      roll

    At least you've had earnings,
    you should be glad,
    you've had some success
    so it isn't all bad.

    The internet's full
    of such talentless tripe,
    all making money,
    now that's my main gripe.

    But it's horses for courses
    so keep up the work,
    don't listen to me,
cos I'm just a berk.  smile
