The traffic to my hubs significantly increase, but earnings largely reduced.

Over time my hub views are picking up very slowly but realistically i'm no better off as a result.

I have a new batch of hubs i've been working on so lets hope they turbo-charge my earnings. (Or at least add a few more cents a day)

I was told that all these pennies is as a result of HP being downgraded by Google. But is this statement actually true?

I have only been earning between 0 - $0.10 cents a day however since Monday my viewings have slightly increased and I am earning between $0.15 and $0.25 a day. Okay it's not huge but it is better than a smack in the chops as we would say.

My earnings per click and traffic per hub has held steady all this year.  I think it depends on the account, and I have no idea what specific factors cause the ups and/or downs on Google.

My traffic has dropped in the last few weeks and I am only earning pennies from Adsense but I am earning $1.00 to $2.00 per day through Hubpages. I use to earn more before the significant drop in view. It does hurt to see the significant drop in traffic.

Summertime is always a terrible time for getting views and money. People are simply out doing other things and only the hard core or information hungry readers stays with their favorite writers.

In 5 years, I have never had a bump in Summer activity at any of the four sites where I publish.

I try to focus on issues like travel, summer food, photo essays, fairs and festivals, and out of school activities and events. There are also lots of vacation, gardening, do it yourself, and summer event topics that people search for.

Restaurant, local guides, and movie and concert reviews might be good.

I would try some short fiction stories for people who just want a good beach read for a few minutes, but I'm taking the Summer letdown to work on my books.

I think you're right to some extent. But to me, i see it as just few advertisers are patronising Google adwords. Most of the advertisers are now shifting ground because they trust Google again with their sort of changes.

sorry, i mean to say they don't trust Google!
