   The fast-food chain famous for the Whopper will introduce the limited-time dessert on Thursday as part of its new summer menu. The 510-calorie sundae—vanilla soft serve topped with fudge, caramel, bacon crumbles and a piece of bacon—has 18 grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar.

   I thought this would repulse me but I actually like all the ingredients and the saltiness along with the sweetness just might work..

      In my opinion it's just more junk food. Americans need to wake up and stop eating so much "food" that does more harm than good. Is it any wonder that obesity is such a huge problem in America?

   I got to taste one (one my of my friends is a manager at one) early and it was so weird. I couldn't get over the crunchy bacon mixed in with ice cream. Overall the tastes weren't too bad though. Salty, but sweet.

   I agree Ramsa1. It's no wonder American's are so unhealthy. Let's add some more fat to our already fatty ice cream. YES!!!

   They had bacon ice cream sundaes at Denny's, so BK is beat on that front. Either way, no way I'd touch it. Most of my friends would die for a bite, however. Weirdos

   Ewwwwww.  Double Ewwwwww. I remember when McDonald's introduced the single burger decades ago.  My, my, my.  When it comes to "food," we have not improved over the years.  I don't get it when people seem surprised that most of the population will be obese in time.  All you need to do is look what people have in their shopping carts, and you'll get the picture of how most people eat.

   I read a lot of posts on my Facebook account about people who love bacon in every way imaginable.  They can have the new bacon sundae and welcome to it.  I can only eat bacon as a breakfast food and not much of it.  I couldn't even think of eating one of those!

   You know, this kind of reminds me of the McDonalds breakfast sandwich with the pancake "bun." I am still dumbfounded at how many people actually LIKED that thing. I though, and still think, it was so gross!! It's totally a heart attack and diabetes just waiting to happen at the same time! Yuck!!

   When I saw this, I thought it was a joke (like when late-night comedians make up this kind of thing to make the point about how bad fast food is).  I've read all the posts, and it doesn't look like it's a joke (of course) - but, boy, I still can't digest that it isn't a joke.     It's not "yum" or even "dumb".  It's just bizarre and disgusting.

    So what was Paula Deen's signature dish?  A hamburger with a doughnut for a bun?  I cannot take that woman seriously because of her "ooey gooey" recipes, but she does have a following to keep her empire going.  Sad and scary.
