    or just about anyone else?

EC Chief still refuses to accept that the Eurozone is in any way the architect of its own problems or responsible for finding a way out of them.

And as for having a dig at other countries being undemocratic, they seem to forget that they are the same EU that would make a country repeat a referendum until they got the result they wanted and that they themselves are a largely unelected body who show total contempt for the electorates of member countries

He is completely correct, the catalyst of the global recession was US mortgage packages and also correct that it takes democratic countries longer to make decisions that non democratic nations.

It may have been a catalyst, but the EU can't go on blaming everything on it years later when they have a whole raft of home-grown problems that they could be sorting out, and there is very little that is democratic about the EU

It's always easier to place blame on something/someone else instead of accepting responsibility.

True, but we desperately need a leader over here that will take the higher road for a change

The UN, America and 99% of the world's leaders need to step down, get lost in the woods somewhere and let honest people truly take the position. Otherwise, growth is going to be managed by those of power and wealth. hmm

They will stay unfortunately, as however much evidence is piled up against them they still think they know what they are doing, which equals no growth roll
