Reapplying for AdSense

I've been reading through FAQs and the learning center and whatnot and cannot find an answer to my problem.

I applied for the AdSense program when I started, but I got an email saying it was disapproved simply because I didn't have enough content and traffic yet. I have more now and would like to reapply, but is there a specific amount of time I'm supposed to wait? It won't seem to let me apply again. It says in my Hubpages account that I was disapproved and can reapply by going to the Google AdSense home page. I click the link, and it still tells me it's disapproved and won't let me go to any other page.

    Help, please?

I barely waited a few days and got approved quick the second time.  Go ahead and try again.

Sorry, I didn't finish, I clicked the link in the email from google that said, " to update and resubmit...."  It was easy enough.

OK thanks, I'll go find the email and try going through there.

Still not working. This is frustrating because it's not like I can just call up Google and get an answer about what to do.

I'm sorry, it wasn't a problem for me, the only thing I had trouble with realizing that after I got accepted on the second try I had to go to my account page and hit configure again and it went in.  I didn't realize it was waiting for me to do something.  There has to be a way to contact them about the problem, have you checked their webpage for an email or something?

Thanks for the heads up about the configuring. I'm looking into it now. The best I've found so far is a forum post on Google in which someone had the same problem and someone else suggested clearing cookies and cache or something... I just have to figure out how to do that now and see if that works.

    Hi kburns

The whole process is not logical from the start. They never even explain that you have to have content to start with!

My guess is that you are waiting for AdSense and they are waiting for you. They normally email to say they will let you know in 4 working days if you have now been approved, but you still have to configure it. My problem was that because I'd already configured the thing I didn't realize that I had to press configure again.

Read Amy Gillie's great Hub on the subject. Hope it helps.

    Good luck

No, it's not about configuring, but thanks. It's that it says

"Account Not Active - An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as it is associated with an unapproved application. For more information about your application, please review the message we sent to the email address you provided with your application."

I've done everything they suggest to clear cache, clear cookies, allow cookies, etc., and it's still not working. I've posted on the adsense forum to see if anyone there can help me.

Thanks for trying to help though :-/ But yeah, Hubpages makes it seem like you can apply immediately. I didn't realize I needed more content.
