People call it just a phase you go through in life which is middle child syndrome. When a couple has three kids or more they never sit back and think of how they leave an child out. Never giving that child a chance to express a feeling. Maybe someone else can describe it for that child asking for a second of attention. Without someone telling them that there's something wrong with them. When there's not, but maybe someone else can put it in words to reach out to one of these lonely kids in the world asking for one thing important to everyone, attention.

This is exactly true.I just want to say that people should learn how to train their children in all aspects of life.We need to learn and teach people how to become good parents.

Middle children are in such a perilous situation.    They are often the forgotten ones in a family.   In fact, the larger the family is, the more likely the middle child is going to be neglected.    Middle children must often navigate the familial waters so to speak.    They are in no man's land between the oldest and youngest child.    While the oldest child is often lionized and/or overburdened and parentified depending upon the respective family size, the treatment of the middle child in a respective family can range from being slightly forgotten to being completely ignored.

Because middle children learn to navigate the familial waters, they learn to be diplomats and to see all sides of the situation.    They can also be the most democratic of all birth orders.   They realize that it is not necessarily about them all the time.   They also can more effectively work in a team than the oldest child, youngest child, and the only child.     Yes, middle children are often the most cooperative of all the birth orders.   I have worked with middle children who were always cooperative and were willing to bend.

There are some middle children who are ignored so much that they prefer to fade into the background.   Such middle children go their own way and can be dependent upon their own devices to survive within the family milieu.     Others become quite vocal and aggressive to make themselves heard.   Madonna was a middle child of eight children.   She indicated in her biography that she become highly vocal to make people notice her!    Yes, the middle child is the most forgotten, underappreciate, and unnoticed child of all birth orders.   Besides Madonna, noted middle children include the late Princess Grace of Monaco a/k/a Grace Kelly;  Marilu Henner, actress and author;  Tim Allen, actor/comedian; and the late Charles Bronson, actor.
