What Business Would You Start If You Can Start Any Business Tomorrow?

   Hey guys,
   
   It's impossible in this day and age to be considered rich unless we can branch out, start a business, create something new, take calculated risks, and reap the rewards from very very hard work. I think all of us at one point have wanted to be more than just an employee to a big corporation that doesn't seem to value us all that much. But for some reason, scared of failure or et cetera has always held us back. So im curious, please answer these questions below.
   
   1. What business would you start if you had a low budget of 500 - 1000?
   
   2. What business would you start if you had a budget of 50 000?
   
   3. What business would you start if you had a budget of 100 000?
   
   4. What business would you start if you had a budget of 1 million?
   
   5. If you've wanted to open a business, why haven't you? and if you have (Good for you !), may I ask what the outcome has been?

      If I could start any business I would start a magazine, that would be the best most intellectual magazine in the land.
      But since I can't I think a pawn shop is good idea in times of recession, or maybe a business collecting debts.
      I haven't so far because I've been a broke college student, but hopefully in a couple of years.

            Like the New Yorker, but I would take out the fiction and arts section. And only accept Poetry that talks about serious things.
            
            Definitely, we can be business partners.
            I can see it now lovemelovemeloveme Pawnshop, not an ironic name at all.

      I'd start a chick-fil-a franchise, I hear they're doing pretty good lately.
      
      On a serious note,
      
      $500 - $1,000 -  A direct sales company of some sort. (Avon, Amway, etc)
      
      $50,000 - A "niche sales company" (i.e. Rare books, comics, baseball cards)
      
      $100,000 -  I'd get into some low-level, short term financing. Small business loans, and such.
      
      $1 Million -  Venture capitol, Investment banking

         A lot of MLM companies have started recently. I'm thinking of checking out visalus vi 90 day challenge. They have better rewards and commission structure than Avon. Case you may want to start with the 500 business, .
         
         Book store or comic business are risky nowadays that technology has expanded. In the future, books may not be as popular thus their market might plummet.  What are your views on this?

            A good "rule of thumb" when looking into an MLM: avoid "new". Back in the 80s and 90s, there was an explosion of MLM companies that burst on the scene, almost all of them are gone now.
            
            As for the books and comics, I'm not talking about selling new items, I'm talking about catering to collectors, rare books etc., there will always be a collectors market. More so as technology continues to render them obsolete.

               Lol yes. I should mention this in my recommendation lol.  MlM companies often drop like flies. Cause it's similar to a pyramid system. Building a strong sales team of people is difficult.

   I would like to start a business house/pet/sitting, something I do already in a neighborly way. If this worked well, I would expand it into light housekeeping and light gardening work. It sounds like a perfect job to me. In my free time, I would like to write and get paid for it, perhaps write a best selling novel and live happily ever after.

      House cleaning business is voted one of the biggest booming businesses of 2012. I think it sounds like a great idea.

   A birth suport business encouraging women in natural birth, delayed cord clamping, breastfeeding etc. One that allows them to learn that legally, doctors cannot touch them without permission, and if they do, it's assault.

   1. What business would you start if you had a low budget of 500 - 1000?
   
   Answer: Most likely a high quality blog. Try and build a community around a topic of your interest, and then build from that.
   
   2. What business would you start if you had a budget of 50 000?
   
   Answer: See below
   
   3. What business would you start if you had a budget of 100 000?
   
   Answer: I think the difference between $50k and $100k wouldn't really be that much of a difference. Once again I'd focus my attention online. I'd most likely buy an existing online business which is already making a profit. This would be the safest bet! 
   
   4. What business would you start if you had a budget of 1 million?
   
   Answer: I'd stick the cash in the bank and make a little interest of it while I made my decision!
   
   5. If you've wanted to open a business, why haven't you? and if you have (Good for you !), may I ask what the outcome has been?
   
   I started my online business back in 2004 at http://www.business-trader.com.au and within 5 years I was able to leave my day job and work full time from home.

   If I could, I would love to start a pedicab business in Bermuda. It is a very good tourist destination and when cruise ships are in, I think it can be a great business. However, the start up costs are high and it would cost about $6000 to get a pedicab shipped to Bermuda.
   
   Once I tried to start a business making balloon animals. It seemed like the perfect idea. I made about $200 in total off of that, but didn't really get into that much after the fact because I went on to other things. One summer I went to a business camp where you learn how to create a business plan and at the end of the week you submit your plan to a panel of judges. I ended up coming first in that and won a free phone.

   I've actually already started my own business and have had a hand in designing other businesses. Funds, of course, are always an issue. My website design business generates a decent amount of income, but not steady as it is still fairly new.
   
   Having $500-1000 I would use that type of budget for my website design business. I have all of the equipment, so perhaps towards earning a certificate in design and coding.
   
   Having $50k-$100k I would use that towards the theatre companies I manage as they are also new companies.
   
   Having over $1m, I'd develop a new company. A hands-on mentorship program for kids, teens, young adults and adults. This would allow people to truly explore their career options and realize how much potential they really have.
