This may sound like small potatoes, but it is not. Might be a sign of more such revelations behind what the mogul search is really doing? Take for example: extracting your private emails for relevant search queries and adverts. Think Buzz on steroids.

    Your thoughts.

Am afraid you were not imagining this. The mogul search giant believes it is ethical because the users account [gmail, android app, G+, blogger, mobile software, ecom or search engine query] are under the same umbrella -theirs, giving them the right to use said information. In short, they have admitted, again, like they were forced to with Buzz and now the Browser tracking, their intention is to monopolize and force consumers into using their products. Their whinny is they fear Bing-Facebook with exceed them in social commerce and social search. Which has actually happened and increasing daily. Still, because they are correct in that estimate, does not warrant privacy violation and bullying. My guess is BigG just played their hand.

Most interesting, thanks for bringing this up James.
I am questioning the relationship between Google and Hub Pages.  Got any information?

            Johnny,
Am not at liberty to disclose the relationship between parties. But, the information coming across my desk, from well respected web "watchdog" companies and search engine "tenders" is the issue with BigG is going to get even bigger, as they continue pushing the limits of what constitutes their acceptable content, links, etc by users of their products -across the board. One major problem looming is the social commerce, the next curve of web business. One that includes Play, Android and your mobile device, as folks drive passed local shops, stores.

As far as PPC advertising goes, I do not foresee any major changes, here on HP, until more private advertisers come on board. The DoubleClick Ad network is just so massive, unless site owners are getting upwards of one million unique per month, Microsoft Pub Network {Bing}, etc will not pick up the publisher. It is a rock-hard place scenario; David-Goliath scenario.

My personal recommendation is to begin building strong ties with Bing-Facebook {regardless of whether or not I "like" FB. lol} and Yahoo {the oldest and wisest of search engines}.

            James.

Another: if have voice mail, that is also recorded and kept forever.

That $22.5 Million fine there were just slapped with is a drop in the bucket for Google. I suspect it won't be the last of many slaps. They will continue to push the privacy envelope, until the FTC and the supreme court orders them to shut down. It's coming...
