How or where could I sell my...DOODLES?*s

   Hi folks and so glad to be here. Well, most folks say that I am an 'accomplished' doodler judging from the things I have created. They say "You should sell these" or "become a tattoo artist" or something like that. Well, not really into tattoos to be honest -- I'd just like to try and sell these creations in some other form, if possible.
   
   Does anyone have an idea on how or where to do this, or could advise? I have a hub here displaying a few, but I have many, many more. Could one setup a site somewhere to display these, or would there be somewhere else to do this?
   
   To ME, they are just...doodles! *s However and as mentioned, others seem fascinated with the squiggles and colors, etc. No redeeming art value as far as I know, but...maybe?
   
   I know I can pop some on cups at Cafepress, Redbubble, and Zazzle -- would this be the way to go? Really I'm just wondering if there would be any use for anyone at all.

      Check out Mark Ewbie's hubs - he uses his stick man 'doodles' to illustrate his (very humorous) hubs, and he also turns them into refrigerator magnets.  I'm waiting for him to release his upcoming series on famous dictators.

         Thanks for your reply regarding what I could do with my doodles. For sure, I'm going to review all replies and try to follow through with advice from yourselves and others.
         In the meantime, I'll continue the 'doodling' and see what happens. Actually, there is a T-shirt company that's interested from viewing my samples...just not sure if a doodle would sell a T-shirt! The samples were sent to give the vendor a sense that I could contribute OTHER things besides doodles. So,,,following up with that as well.
         Thanks again for the patience and if you happen to have any other ideas or sites to submit, please don't be shy to forward them on to me.

   As far as popping them on the Print-on-Demand sites, why not? Leave them up there; if they sell, great, if not, you will have lost only a few minutes of your time. I didn't make anything from Zazzle for ages, and now I'm getting regular payouts.

      Hi there and thank you for writing your reply a while back. I'm late with responding to all replies and trust in your patience!*s Not ignored at all...just some laziness on my part, I guess!
      You mentioned "Print-on-Demand" and I'm not quite sure what that means, or what sites are involved here. Thus, if you'd be able to update me a bit with these types of things, that would be most appreciated. I'd like to do something with these arts on paper,,,and, they ARE just on paper. Not sure what to do with them. So if you have a minute, I'd like to know more about Print on Demand if you could...sounds interesting. Thanks so much for the cooperation and regards for the moment.    I'd put them on the sites such as CafePress, Zazzle, etc. and consider listing them on Etsy.  There are several artists over there that sell "doodle" style art.  Some of them seem to sell quite a bit of it!  Etsy is fairly cheap - it's like .20 cents for 3 months so it wouldn't be a big investment.

      Sounds good and I will certainly check out what you've written. As the other lady mentioned too, it looks as if Etsy might be a place to submit all these things. Just wondering what format...as mentioned, they are on plain 'ol white paper and not quite sure to do with 'em!

      Greetings and thanks for the note. Hmmm...I know about Etsy. Just have to have a valid CC to signup, etc. So, working on that for Etsy for sure. I have a good feel about Etsy and think it might work. Looking at Ebay too. Just not sure WHAT to do with these things...they are on plain white paper right now. Does one laminate them, get them mounted, or put on a cup, and so on? Will check Etsy though and thanks again for your response. Michael

   What I would do is create a Tumblr page for your art and make sure to tag it with anything relevant, as well as start following other similar blogs and become friends. Once you've got a decent following and admirers, you can offer up commissions. I'm not even the best artist but because I have such a great group of friends on that site they're willing to pay me for original art done by me- I think it also makes it special if it's done by a friend. I haven't made a LOT so far, but it's definitely more than I ever expected to!
