It would be nice if there was a limit to the number of hubs that an author has written, when it comes to appearing in the "Discover More Hubs" section. So that this doesn't happen:

    (hub titles edited out.)

Or, heck, to block a hubber hubs from appearing. (Although this could be abused to order to increase the chance of your own hubs appearing.)

Does this mix of others' Hubs not rotate and change in mix with every view? It seems to do so with my Hubs. I wonder why hers are the only ones that might ever appear on yours, if that is happening?

Is there a reason you want to limit this particular Hubbers' Hubs from appearing on your own, or is there someone else's Hubs/friends you'd rather see? I wonder if a Hub Ring like a Web Ring is possible in future?

Where is the "Discover More Hubs" section?  I would like to take a look.

It's at the bottom of any one of your hubs. smile

You and that author must be writing in a very specialized niche.

That's what's surprising. Her hubs are really all that related to mine and the category has a lot of other hubs that could be chosen.

Sounds like a glitch, then. There have been rather a lot lately. lol.

As long as the information being written is not duplication, why would hubpages limit authors ability to write more hubs?  I Disagree.
Let writers write. and work on search filters for the screening.

You might want to go back and actually read the first post as that is not what this thread is about.  True, the thread title was a poor word choice on the part of the OP...

I replied to what I see...  I do not see anything more that I did not already read...  poor word choice I suppose... you must know more about the subject than was stated.

"It would be nice if there was a limit to the number of hubs that an author has written, when it comes to appearing in the "Discover More Hubs" section."

          Perhaps a garden path?
          Then:
Fewer hubs by any one hubber should appear in the "Discover More Hubs" section.

If you had read the first post of this thread, you'd realize that Melbel is asking admin to limit the amount of hubs by any single author that appear in the suggested section, not asking for a limit to be put on how many Hubs an author can write.

    Melbel,

Thank you for the suggestion. We are working as I write this on improvements to the algorithm that generates the Discover More Hubs. On which of your Hubs are you having this problem? Can you send me the link (feel free to do it via email from the Fan Mail section of my profile). I'd like to investigate it and make sure that its not a bug with recent updates that we've made.
