PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Congressional candidate Anthony Gemma alleged Wednesday that a private investigation has uncovered voter fraud linked to U.S. Rep. David N. Cicilline, his opponent in the upcoming September primary.
Gemma contends an investigation he initiated by retired state troopers found evidence of people being paid to vote for certain candidates, people voting multiple times at different voting places and people who impersonated other voters.

This is going to alter the conversation concerning voter ID laws! Kind of tough for the Democratic party to continue to oppose this type of legislation if it turns out that this is true! Do you think that Mr. Ciccilline will see the inside of a prison for these crimes?
I just want voters to show a drivers license to vote. I have to show picture ID to get a job, go to the doctor, write a check, take money out of my own account, when I get stopped by a policeman, to buy or rent a home, test drive a car, and the list goes on and on. You can't live in this country without some kind of pictured ID, so why don't most of the blue states require IDs to vote. (even illegals have IDs)
Voting fraud is a serious crime and should be punished. The problem I have with voter ID laws is that it will not stop there. Currently there is absolutely no obligation to have any "papers" on your person, unless you engage in activities which require identification (driving), to participate you must consent to the rules, eventually a stop and ID will be common police procedures.
This is just another step down the road to absolute tyranny. I do not believe TPTB give a rats knee about voter ID, their agenda is full implementation of total government control.
This situation in RI should be investigated, and if true, punishment should be doled out!
In the past five years I have not once had an ID in my possession, nor have I ever needed one. I do not want that to change.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Editors note: This report first published in 2007 and is periodically updated with new information.
Ray cut the wheel and started down the way he came. He was on the wrong side of the road and he knew it.
Up until now, Ray had been pretty lucky. At 18, he'd had his fair share of brushes with the law. But this time, he knew there was slim chance of escape.
There was, in his mind, a damn good reason he was on the wrong side of the road.
When the Franklin, Mass., cop flipped on his lights, Raymond L.S. Patriarca turned the wheel of his sedan and went the other way. Cops didn't know anything about the kid. But they would.

Hi there, RB.
Mr. Gemma’s antics are so notorious they are referred to as “gemmapalooza” in the Rhode Island press. {1} This “press conference,” announced a week before it occurred, is just another example. The only revelations where unsubstantiated sworn statements signed by five different people covering a ten-year period. None of them implicate his opponent in the upcoming primary. In fact, Mr. Gemma referred to Mr. Cicilline as nothing more than a “common denominator.” However, there is nothing in reports to suggest any widespread abuses and even less to indicate voter photo ID laws are justified to curtail rampant fraud. Freedom loving Americans who cherish their remaining liberties are right to resist all forms of such legislation.

Thanks for providing perspective on Gemma's wild charges.
I suspect voter fraud is pretty common especially where you don't have to show your ID. Why else would the attorney general be suing states who want to clean up their voter lists. BFF is registered to vote in 2 states despite her best efforts to convince the powers that be she only lives in one place.
Agree with you about the investigation. Interesting how most of think we are required to carry a paper on our person. I think its because so many people in the US drive and you do have to have a license for that.

I said it before and I'll say it again. The intense fraud committed by the Democrats during the 2020 election will be revealed This isn't going away. It's too late to change the outcomes of the election, but it is a good time to reveal the total and complete disregard for the rule...

Here is a quote from Holder, do you agree? Do you find it interesting that no one can get into the Democratic National Convention if they do not have a picture ID, but you do not need one to vote? “…some of the achievements that defined the civil rights movement now hang in the balance.”-- Attorney...
