Speakers at the Democratic National Convention

   The DNC announced today that they will have several speakers at the convention who are Bain capital employees or partners. With all the commercials of hatred that Obama put out there about Romney and Bain capital, is it not a little hypocritical to want that type of person campaigning for you?
   
   Obama has been talking for months about how the bankers, Wall Street, investment bankers such as Bain capital destroying the middle class and are destroying the country. He talks about how their the 1%, how they're crooks, how they ship jobs overseas, and now he wants them to speak on his behalf. Just when you thought Obama could not be any more of a hypocrite, he shows you he can.

         Perhaps  these speakers are FORMER Bain employees.....as in whistle-blowers...as in intending to confirm the negative media exposure re Bain....as in.....hate Romney.....as in the wife who volunteers to testify against the husband in a criminal case!!    How the hell do we know until we see and hear it??

            It could be having an open mind and letting the facts speak for themselves ... I know that is hard for some others to understand.

               Yea, unlike the Dems who were so silent, like the ones who did not call for the death of Ann Romney before she spoke, or all of those who were accused of being race tratiors if they went and spoke. I do enjoy the silence of the left

               I'm never surprised by people who fall to the left using the open mind ploy. You guys never disappoint, it is always the same rhetoric. Liberals so enlightened and open minded, in fact liberals are the most closed minded people I have ever known. I'm not a Bill Oreilly fan but you should read Culture Warrior it describes the simple unabashed truth about liberal open minds.

         They can have all they say they want, no-one is they cannot do that. We're not talking about the speakers here, we were talking about the Obama campaign who paints those guys as criminals yet now they want them to speak on behalf of Obama. You can't have it both ways, you're either for Wall Street or you're against, Obama makes it quite clear with all the ads that he runs all the speeches he makes he is totally against Wall Street.

            The issues is NOT ATT ALL CLINT EASTWOO'S STUNT, the issue is (OR SHOULD BE): who is best equipped to lead this country out of the biggest whole in generations? Why is it that libs are quick to point out the dottering octogenarian and paint him as a distration, but don't think to paint Michelle Obama s just the same.
            
            We are presented with distractions: One, a woman with a lot of horses in the race, saying that she loves her husband (is this unique?) vs an actor who has given us many moments of genuine looks into out souls and who is genuine. I prefer to 'make my day' with the latter.
            
            Not who presented a dang good moment of levity, not the wife who speaks about her husband's kind, face, laughing, gentelnessl-ad nauseum.

      Yes, use them as part of defense, now part of offense. People will see through that thinly veiled attempt to USE Bain capital for double purposes, like they see Michelle Ovama's speech about selling HERSELF; too bad she's not running for office, HE IS..
      
      "The goal of the convention is to destroy Romney. " But, the Dems won't admit to this being EXACTLY why they complained about Mitch McConnel saying.
      
      As far as the 'old man,' Clint said his piece and at 80+, he's entitled, despite Rachel Maddows objections that Clint should have talked about Afghanistan, other issues; when all we wanted was what Clint gives, "GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY." Now, he could add, "DO YOU FEEL LUCKY" and mean it, to Obama!!

   Maybe Obama wants people who actually "helped" Romney "help" companies to talk about how this "help" actually occurred and what it actually meant for the companies and worked involved. And how an LBO business model does NOT transfer on a large scale to US economic or jobs policy.
   Or if it does, how we are all royally yucked.

   Inquiring minds will not wait for the Bainiacs to talk at the convention. They'll check this out for themselves.

      Obama can definitely have the people who work with Romney talk about what happened, I don't think that's a bad thing all. But don't you find it odd that the people Obama is knocking and putting down he now wants speaking at his convention?

      Michelle Obama made quite a case for 'pulling yourself up by the bootstraps' and how glamorous it can be. That REALLY doesn't negate that Mitt Romney accomplished the same goal-a different way. He had other challenges on his road.
      
      Mitt Romney's way is not a crime to be demonized, but SUCCESS TO BE APPLAUDED. Michelle Obabma's speech sounded more like a PLUS for her rags to riches story, than an endorsement of her husband. Are you placing your OWN name into the nomination?, Michelle?

   "President Obama’s Office of Management and Budget is turning into something of a Bain alumni reunion, although you won’t hear about it from the president.
   Obama picked Jeff Zients to lead the OMB earlier this year, as the attacks on Romney’s Bain Capital career were heating up in the Republican Primary. Zients worked at Bain and Company from 1988-1990. Now Zients will be joined by another former Bain employee, as Obama appointed Boris Bershteyn to lead the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. Bershteyn’s White House biography, like that of Zients before him, also makes no mention of the Bain connection."
   
   "The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Obama administration played “a central role” in encouraging a private equity firm to rescue a struggling refinery in Pennsylvania. This is rather ironic since part of the reason for the refinery’s financial troubles were the Obama administration’s burdensome regulations. "
