Just came across this you tube video by Matt Cutts. (posted today) It appears that we don't need to update and refresh all content, just content where the topic is subject to recent changes, such as content about the news or new technology which is ever evolving.
Thoughts anyone?

Hi~ Some of my stuff is seasonal. I re-posted things like my Apple Pan Dowdy in the fall. Same with my Mexican Grey Squash recipe (summer season.) I did go through and spiff up them before I re-posted though. So, I don't get too concerned about the zzzzzzz on a blog~!
I hardly had any zzz'z just Xmas ones or a couple which had totally died. However, I ended up refreshing the Christmas one's, and it doesn't appear that in G's eyes they need to be refreshed, according to Matt Cutts.
Matt Cuts also describes updating content, with a few new words or different byline as "a pitfall" Interesting. How many of us have done that in the last couple of weeks?
Google has far too much power and control over search.
I'm amazed that it has gone on for so long to be honest. I know they've incurred several fines, but the money is a drop in the ocean to a company like Google.
This monopoly has to end.

I know that you can choose to display your idle hubs on your profile page, but I don't, because I don't want Google to see them at all and get confused by all those "do not follow." What this means is that my idle hubs are not available for anyone to see, and I have to actively...

After a hub was published, it is taking 24 hours to get that hub featured. After getting featured, now the problem was with Indexing of the same into Google Search-engine. It takes months sometimes for a hub to get indexed into Google search engine and getting fair traffic from the same.I am using...

Flipboard is a bit like Pinterest, as far as I can tell. I get traffic from it occasionally and am wondering about trying it.

I recently read Simone's hub on this, but cannot find it again. It talked about how hubs would or would not be featured on our profiles if they're idle and the impact that our choice have on Google searches.Prior to that I remember seeing that idle hubs would not likely drag down our content, and...
