Why do people always blame the President for economic woes?
Why not Congress? They're the ones with the lawmaking and taxing abilities. The Presidency actually has rather limited powers, compared to Congress. I think we should be looking at them a little more closely.

Oh I agree for the most part but he shouldn't make promises he can't keep now should he?

        No, he shouldn't.
But what if he very much intended to keep them, and Congress was deadlocked or he couldn't persuade them to his side?
All President's and candidates make promises they can't keep. It's part of the game of politics (I'm not saying it's good, though).

Well I have no idea how you have any better legislative situation than he walked into. If he couldn't get it done with that it really is his own fault. Ask Harry Reid about gridlock. He's the master.

Why does a current president blame a former President? Things that make you go hmmmmmmm.

You seem to post a new forum thread about every hour, and many of them slam the current administration. So we get that you're going to vote for Romney. But why do you post soooo many threads? I've asked this of people who are posting and posting pro-Obama, too. I just don't understand the obsessing that seems to dominate this election.

I was asking you a question. If you can't answer it in the same spirit it was asked, then don't answer it.  I have been avoiding your posts because they don't seem to address anything you like. I will continue to do so.

In answer I actually average about two a day when I am feeling active about it which I am at the time.
I have an opinion and the forums are a good place to exercise such. All my posts are NOT about Barack Obama. Some of them are about the Occupy farce. Some are about fast and Furious. Some are about green energy.
