Let's not call them liberals. I'm a liberal in the stricto sensus of the term. Let's call them what they are i.e. conservative, and, it says it all. They represent the Middle Ages of all societies!

Being liberal Or conservative doesn't make you a hateful person.
Parties are going after each other now because there's an election, that's how it is, that's how it's been, that's how it will always be.

When people can meet in the middle, rather extending towards the far right or left, maybe we'll make some progress.

Perhaps liberals are sick and tired of the extreme right and yes, they hate it.

If the extreme right, especially the raggedy welfare state confederates of the deep south and from America's methamphetamine based "heartland" economy would stop with their aggression, and go back into their holes and caves, the rest of America would not be fighting back.

Consider it a wake up call that certain political movements are not good for this nation and they are not wanted.

As a liberal, being exposed to a significant amount of people in this country that, as Greg Proops so aptly-humorously-put it: "seems like, oh, I dunno, a redneck, gun-totin', psycho-Christian, anti-choice, homophobic, truck-drivin' dog in the back, gimme-cap-wearing, you know, 'the jury's still out on evolution,' kind of place" we tend to be rather.... Oh, well, nasty. That's not what Greg concluded with, rather , he blamed England for our current state as the first people from England that made a lasting impression were the dour Puritains ( I just used the description.)
