Most of us are in the same shoose. Alas have to wait and see. I started to look for a possibility to move hubs elsewhere as my other sites with google adsense are doing well.

Borge_009~I'm so sorry this is happening to you. The same thing happened to me last month and it lasted for the entire month. It was so frustrating. I wouldn't move anything, though, because it will come back. There was a Google update on the 5th that they said would affect a lot of people. I don't understand it but it does seem to be temporary. It's still a bummer. Hang in there.

Try to form your own website. You can still have Adsense there, and zillion other monetization tools that you're not allowed to use here, and they pay way better and more than a rev-share site (You don't have to share your cake). That's the future. Forget landlord and try to build your own house.

I would not feel too bad smile tweaks to the site by HP and the search engine by the big 'G' is tossing all of us around like a salad. Once things settle down and we see what changes occur may turn out to be good. For now, just keep on forging ahead and don't keep all your eggs in one basket wink write for other sites where you can use your adsense or start a new blog too. Diversify wink

I had a few problems with my traffic for a while, but after some tweeking, adding content and changing titles, it bounced back and is now even better then before. So don't give uo hope just yet and as already mentioned Google and HP are undergoing some changes so, we will have to give it some time to see whether they pay off or not. I do hope your plight does not last too much longer though. smile

That is such great advice. During my timeout, I initially pouted and stomped my foot. I began updating some earlier hubs and my timeout luckily ended. I'm still going through and editing. There are some that need work for sure!

    Hi denisemai,

May I know what update from Google are you talking about that affects most of us, hubbers? I'm not aware of this so please educate me. Thanks.

I'm in no position to educate anyone. I saw this post on Twitter awhile back: http://searchengineland.com/google-peng … =feed-main

I'm on a Kindle Fire. I hope this link works!

Edit: It works. I started following Matt Cutts on Twitter to try to keep up. I'm learning, too. smile

This is the update that had the biggest effect.

As a whole, my HubPages impressions are up by 40% and all my blogs are up in both impressions and traffic since both updates. After both the 21st and the 5th I had a 2 day or so drop, then it shot back up, and after the 5th it went up higher than it was before. I must be one of the few that these updates were good for.

    Hi wrenfrost56,

What changes in Google and HP are you referring to that are adversely affecting our stats? Thanks.

I'm sorry about this. I've experienced something similar this month. I think we all got hit by the last Google imposed changes. Hopefully we will see a recovery soon.

thanks to everyone's advice.  I love to write here in hubpages and will still be.  I will try to edit my hubs  and wait for changes.

My traffic is down also. I was wondering what was going on.

My traffic is horrid. I only have 16 hubs, but I was getting around 40 views a day before the update at the end of last month. Then, I dropped to around 15 a day. I had picked back up to around 20 -25 late last week, but today, I have a grand total of 6 views. That's about what I had when I only had 3 hubs!

The odd thing is that my better performing hubs still rank decently in the SERPs. In fact, a couple have even moved up a few spots.

My traffic was down for a while too. But over the last couple of days I am seeing a noticeable increase!!! Thank God!

What is odd in my case is that my popular hubs are still ranking well in Google, but my earnings are a record low, I just cannot come up with a good explanation for what is happening, so not sure what I can do and if there are any options.
