   My 2-yr-old granddaughter, Brooklynn, has RSV and pneumonia. Last night her fever was over 105. If you could send a prayer or good thought our way, we sure would appreciate it.

      I wasn't sure what RSV was and just finished reading up on it. She's going to be fine, trust the doctors will take excellent care of her. All the best to you and your granddaughter, habee.

      sending up prayers, nothing makes a parent feel worse or totally helpless then when your helpless baby is very sick and there is nothing more terrifying. if pray for quick recovery and all the best.

   My daughter had pneumonia when she was little. You'd be amazed at how tough and resilient little kids can be, Holle. Sending your granddaughter lots of good wishes for a speedy recovery!

   O, Habee. I am sending prayers and Angels to Brooklyn and to each of you as you hold vigil over her. It is so so hard to see our babies so sick and it makes us feel so helpless but God is lifting her up and each of you as well.

    I made dinner for my daughter and her family, and Brooklynn actually felt like eating a little. I think that's a good sign!
    
    I want all of you to know that I really consider you as friends. It's like Mighty Mom said on a political thread - we might squabble among ourselves sometimes (like every family does), but when push comes to shove, most of us are "there" for each other.

          Wildman, I must be one of the luckiest grandmas in the world - all 9 grandkids are nearby. 2 live about 10 miles away, 4 live 2 blocks away, and Brooklynn and her 2 brothers live just two doors up!

    When I was little, I suffered pneumonia and a temperature of 106.5, but fully recovered and now pray that the same healing is sent to Brooklynn by God.

    My son had the same thing when he was 5 months old, they said the first 5 days are the worst and they were exactly right. Praying for you grandbaby.
