Paul Ryan under the bus?

   A few months ago, some of us argued that Mitt Romney should pick NJ Governor Chris Christie as his Veep running mate.
   He chose far right Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan.
   
   What do you make of this article citing Romney campaign's "buyer's remorse" on picking Ryan?
   Is it coincidental to Christie's high visibility/high favorability after Sandy to be now saying Christie was  Romney's original choice?
   Are they admitting defeat is imminent?
   Hedging their bets??

               Hey, if your bridge connects Manhattan to any of its boroughs, I'll take it off your hands for the right price, AV.
               But only if the 3 passengers per commuter vehicle is waived.
               And assuming I can find an open gas station with gas to fuel my vehicle so I can cross it!!

   Until 8 months ago I had been a Romney supporter.  [--I am not presently an Obama suppoerter!]
   
   Many books will be written about Romney's campaign "tactics".
   
     Romney alientated an huge number of potential Republican supporters to such a point that they could not support him.   These supporters would normally have supported Romney as the nominee if he had not used exceptionally unethical methods to aliientate them.
   
   Were I to elaborate on this here at this time I would not be believed.   
   
   History will show this is the case.   
   
   It is all very sad.

      I always thought Christie would have been the best choice, but I have no doubt that he would not have wanted to work with Romney...Christie is just too much of a straight shooter and is also too honest!  His honest response to Obama during Sandy would have made Romney vomit.

      Doodlehead....Election Day is day after tomorrow.  This is no time to straddle the fence. 
      
      To say you no longer support Romney because of his "...exceptionally enethical (campaign) methods..." leads me to believe you wouldn't want this unethical man to be POTUS.  Yet, you also say, "I am not presently an Obama supporter!" 
      
      If this means you will either not vote or will vote for an Independent candidate, then you're giving your vote away in this election, and you may give it to the "exceptionally unethical" candidate if you don't vote for President Obama. 
      
      If you'll read Tammy Barnett's current HP article ("POTUS") about all the positive things the president's done for which he is not given credit by GOP supporters, you may find that he's well worth your vote on Tuesday. No, he hasn't been a perfect president, but he is and will be better than the deceitful team of Romney and Ryan.
      
      Please vote Obama/Biden!

      Have you written any hubs on these tactics?
      I know there would be many people interested.
      I think many of us, just in adding up the numerous and consistent dishonesties that HAVE been brought to light, can extrapolate to a likelihood that these are just the tip of the iceberg.
      
      However, looking back to the GOP primaries, it's pretty hard to imagine any of the other contenders in the position of President of the United States.
      (other than Huntsman -- who disappeared so abruptly as to look suspicious...).
      
      Not saying Romney was the best of the bunch.
      The GOP can and could have done so much better.
      But there needs to be a shakeout. Either the party really wants to be right wing batcrap crazy on social/environmental issues* or it wants to be a reasonable alternative to the left-wing fringe that is more centrist and sane.
      
      
      
      *Much more could be said on what this phenomenon appears to be vs. what it really is behind the scenes. But this is not the place.

      Actually, since I do not believe in religion, not really.
      
      Do you not find it funny all these attack articles coming out against Romney from the left bloggersphere for the last week or so? Cannot wait to see what's next.
      
      While I do no like MSNBC, they jump all over these types of stories coming out if their is a whiff of possible truth in order to make Romney look bad. None if the last 6 or 7 threads that have been started this weekend with stories against Romney appear no where in the MSM, including MSNBC. Does make you wonder
