I asked a devout Christian whether she would kill her children. This was the answer I got
"Are they obedient children, or defiant and stupid as hell???"
So will you kill your children, if they are defiant or stupid as hell?
if you are in god's place, will you kill your children(humans), if they are defiant and stupid as hell?

Thank you, I also was under the same impression that only barbarians do so.

Some parents have killed their children. So yes some will. Most don't.

The Christian understanding of Gods children is sometimes taken too literally.

I asked whether you kill. Let others answer for themselves.

I did get, that is why I asked. This was the answer.
""Are they obedient children, or defiant and stupid as hell???"'

That's not really an answer but a mind game.

If they are obedient the answer could be no.

If they are defiant and stupid as hell the answer could still be no.

The question answering a question is designed to make your mind calculate all the possible answers to the question supposedly answering the original question. You have arrived at one possible answer. I have arrived at another possible answer.

So really there was no answer.

If you teach your child to not take drugs, but they do anyway, and it kills them, are you a bad parent?

Why did you let them kill themselves?
You must not love that child.

In fact, you must have hated that child, because they may never have taken drugs, if YOU didn't tell them they should stay away from it.

      Are you a child killer?

      Stupid logic! sad

Do you understand what you have written?
\What is its relevance to the OP?
In case you didn't understand I'll repeat the question,
        Will you kill you child?

Then do you think god killed humans?
or Do you think Noah's flood is just a story.

@riddle in my view noha's flood is partial truth...there was great flood because all civilizations record it ...in hinduism noah=manu , in other civilizations too they have this story....summerians too record it...so flood should be truth....linking it to god is false in my opinion...

          Thank you pisean,
This particular person was insisting that god is love and he kills. When I pointed out the contradiction she was accusing me of not listening.
Regarding the flood, there might have been one in middle east, but that particular story might be a copy of epic of Gilgamesh. Regarding manu, the Hindus lived near river sindhu which flooded routinely. Again almost all civilisation started around rivers and it is no wonder there were floods through out ancient world.

@riddle Sumerians where first to record it and then was copied by others including jews....manu's flood in not ordinary flood...it drowned entire world is story and manu too was given orders like noah to have its arc...but as now accepted all these stories comes from summerians ,the original creator of this myth...so flood should be real and god etc later added...

World wide flood? I forgot to mention their world was very small. So you are right.
Regarding manu story from Sumerian, you could be right as I read that the Aryans (Hindus), were originally from middle east(controversial), and Manu is their sage. The original inhabitants of Indus valley-the dravidians have no such stories.
