What have you done today to make someone smile?

I told a teacher how important she is to the children in her vicinity. She smiled and told me she sometimes needs reminding that she makes a difference.

You are such a good person!  And you answered my question.

I live in a retirement community and I sell a popular line of cosmetics. My neighbor was complaining about having very dry skin. So, I put a bow around a bottle of my best skin lotion and gave it to her as a gift. The smile on her face made me want to hand her every bottle of lotion I could find.

I did the shopping so my wife could stay home and write a hub.

I shared some humor on Facebook.  It makes people smile and I enjoy that.  Many choose to post the more depressing stuff and pull folks down on such a site, but I use it to help create the smile and positive energy.

Right on!  That's so true, there is a lot of negativity on  FB.  It's always nice to see something that makes you laugh and smile.

Really?  I get very little negativism from my friends there.  It's almost always good for a smile or outright laugh.  Often just a "feel good" thing.  Right now I've got a doggie pic showing that got a giggle from the wife and I both.

I guess I consider negativity as the relentless bickering that goes on between people.  Such as during the months preceeding the election, people knocked me off their facebook because of my political beliefs.  So, in order to stay away from negativity I cancelled my account.  Not to mention I didn't want the men in black knocking on my door lol.

Just ask a person to smile.
See the reaction you get from that question.

eg   When your are paying for your groceries at the grocery store,
ask the cashier to smile and observe the reaction around you.
Others will be smiling also from that request.

99% of the time they will smile and fell better. A happy face and with
a big :-) smile in very contaigious.

Be careful when you say it at certain places.

While I did the shopping, I wished each salesperson well or thanked them in a unique, specific way.

I made a joke today. It was very funny that I created a bursting laugh in my family.
