   Well we all fall in love. For some it's serious, for some its a joke. But we cannot deny the fact that there is no definition to love. So, lets see what's the meaning of love for you.

      There are many facets to love, but one clear indicator is when you are willing to put the needs of another ahead of your own, without promise or expectation of a reward.

         Well saying this is easy, but only few do it. most of the times our own needs & ego come in our way. The only relation according to me where this happens is of a Mother & child where love is shown to each other unconditionally.

            Yes, true love is hard to find, but I've even seen the definition I gave played out by strangers.

      I wrote a hub about the best and the worst of human feelings. I did not try to define love, but I did indicate that l love is not a true feeling, but is a culmination of feelings.
      
      In my estimation, love is not a feeling. It is an act of our will.

   I think love is a try-try again logarithm, which you work at until you either find it or give up. I think a Rubik's cube is far more logical.

   Love is many things.   Love is accepting and respecting a person with different opinions.   It is not criticizing a person who has a different opinion and lifestyle from the so called societal norm.     Love is also supporting a person in whatever endeavor/ career/life choice he/she elects to undergo.     
   
   Love is not a parent comparing one child to another child.    Love is accepting that child for his/her unique psychology and characteristics.    Love is unconditional, it is not conditional based upon the parents' innate preferences and modus operandi.     
   
   Love is not control, manipulation, and/or psychological upmanship.   People who love each other whether it is family, friends, and/or significant others realize that their puported significant other is a person in his/her own right and does not resort to gamemanship and other forms of psychological control to get the person to "do things their way."             
   
   Love is permitting a person to evolve and grow, even if the person evolves and grows away from you.    Sometimes the relationship in question is not meant to last.      Love well........just is and is so infinite.

   Love is a bond between living creatures. It is the ones experiencing an instance of that bond who determine qualities their bond possess. This bond can be conscious or unconscious. This bond gives rise to behaviors both internal and external.
   
   It is the power of this bond, as one feels the feelings associated with it, or one dreams of feelings that could be, or one feels nothing at all, that causes us to act. We talk to people for hours or seconds at a time. We watch baseball games or play games of catch. We solve complex problems to impress a certain person, or we cause complex problems to do the same.
   
   Love is a bond you have with yourself that drives you to self fulfillment. This can manifest as behaviors that include the experience of ecstasy of solving a math problem. It can manifest as putting in ten hours a day in a recording studio to produce something wonderful.
   
   I don't know what love it. I can only create a model for it. I can only create a map, a representation of it. The map I create will always be incomplete. The map will never be the territory.

   I think the definition of love is best described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, if you don't mind a Biblical answer. So here goes: Love, referred to as charity, suffereth long and is kind. Charity envieth not, charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.
   Also, one of Jesus' commandments to us is to love one another as he loved us, greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
   So my idea of love is to simply try to be more like Jesus.

    Love is feelings and emotions one exhibit for someone. Either it may be brother or sister or father or wife or girlfriend etc. Love is not created its actually comes from inner or heart. Love has no boundation, boundaries and no casts, culture and color. So, its a great thing to feel. When we are in love undoubtedly  we enjoy the life in fuller.
