Hello fellow hubbers. I wanted a little help from you all on how should I spend my time on net other than using Hubpages & Facebook.

You can spend your time making money answering surveys.

Well I have tried that. But never succeeded. Do you know any genuine site which pays for surveys?

Do as I do... I Google a lot of things to simply learn more about them. Everyday things that cross my path that I am not familiar with or would like to know more about.

Another site I enjoy using is StumbleUpon.  Once you have listed your interests, you will be able to view pages that are not from search engine results.  The pages on StumbleUpon are only pages submitted by viewers.  I run into some neat things that I would have normally missed. smile

The internet is the largest data base that has ever been available...tap into it and enjoy! smile

But that's not a way to spend your daily hours. I go on Amazon & ebay when I need something. But its not a site where I can spend my most of the time. Anyway, thx. It was helpful.

This might sound like more of the same, but I like to play on Blogger. I have serious blogs over there on Blogger, but I also just have some in which I just kind of ramble on or post entertaining stuff, a couple with poetry. To me, it's entertaining, almost like winding down. Also, Reddit or Tumblr. Those to me are very  entertaining, and you can learn some things from them too. On Blogger, there's a good amount of freedom, and also there's even more freedom on Tumblr, to post what you want. Of course, if you monetize your Blogger blog with Google Adsense, you have to follow Adsense Terms of Service. Reddit is fun, but there are a few rules, but if your posts are successful then the rules loosen up. Cool thing about Reddit is that it's easy to make an account; just have to make up a user name and a password and you're in.

Be careful here, only go for torrents of items in public domain, and legal.

This site gives tests and exercises in hacking, computer security related stuff. Be careful here, the information you learn here can get you either locked up, or a job in security.

These, with hubpages and facebook are about the only place I go now.

Yes I do read a lot on Wikipedia. But as a Indian I cant earn much with blogs. Google adsense is very strict in accepting Asians application. Unlucky me!
      But thanks for the suggestion.
