Just discovered the referral program, any good results?

   Has anyone had great success with the URL Tracker and referrals? I just read what it was about and seems like a great way to provide incentive for other hubbers to promote other user's content. Does anyone use this strategy to make a lot of money?

      Im trying to figure out how to make money on hub pages but havent yet . Is there anyway you can help me they dont have a 1800 number to call and sk for help or do they.

   The URL trackers and the referrals are two pieces of the same thing.  First you have to get people to come through your trackers.  Then you have to get them to sign up with HubPages, and then those folks have to go on to actually building Hubs.
   
   Until you get them to that last stage, you don't earn anything.  And the earnings don't turn out to be much unless your referral person happens to build a lot of moderate to high-quality Hubs.

      I have always thought that in traffic referral program you are entitled to either 9% or 12% of total adsense, kontera and amazon impressions generated by the traffic you brought?

         I thought so too, and that is worked 2 ways: signing people up and getting a portion of hub's cut of the adsense revenue if you refer people to another hub, but you only get revenue a short amount of time. If I am not understanding then the way they explain it is not very clear..

   I have found moderate success with the referral program, going by the frozen stats at the moment. I think Darkside is doing very well with the referral trackers.

   I wonder how many of Sunseven's signups are Indian Hubbers posting sexy Indian pictures... in which case the earnings may not be as big as they sound.
   
   I have around 80 signups, but only a couple of them have ever written a decent amount of Hubs.

      Myself and Sunseven have very similar stats, until it gets to the last Hub Traffic stat, and then I'm left behind by about 10 million views.
      
      I guess my referrals are making hubs that are not all that appealing to the typical hub loving Indian.

      In fact I had one referral with more than 1200 hubs on his name (An American by the way), at that time I had real good referral earnings. But after some policy change, HP admin deleted all of them
      
      Anyway, I should keep an eye on those referrals from now on. I will let you know soon what sort of hubs they are making.
      
      Any traffic is good traffic, better than none anyway! Same with earnings too.

   Here are my current stats:

   Sunseven is clearly the benchmark to aim for.  I have only 2 signups who write most of my referral hubs and I think they are probably the same person.  Many of the hubs are picture galleries so earnings are relatively low.
   
   I get anything from 90% to 10% of my AdSense earnings from referral signups on a typical day so it is well worth doing..

    You can find out, dear frog, if you create an adsense channel for hubpages.com and additional channels for each of your hubs.  The difference is your referral traffic.  Unfortunately I don't think you can work out what each referral hub or hubber brings in.
    (Unless someone out there knows better?)

       Maximum 200 URL channels though (I think?)..... so that only works for those with less than 200 hubs.

          I was reading down this thread wondering how people knew how much income they'd had from their referrals.
          
          Yes, Google Channels only gives you 200 urls.  I started using them at first, then realised I didn't want to waste my 200 on hubpages.  I do use channels for a few hubs, just to give me an idea, but I plan on writing 1000 hubs (long-term), so the 200 will quickly go ... and hubpages is only a small part of my website presences.
          
          Google aren't enabling more than 200 channels either.  It's all a bit of a nuisance.
          
          I have no idea how much my referrals make me, but I can see from the hubpages information that I have:
          27 referrals
          17/27 of them have written one hub
          3/17 have written more than 10 hubs
